The wife and father of kidnapped Israeli soldier Ehud Goldwasser, Karnit, holding a wedding photograph, and Shlomo Goldwasser arrive at Heathrow Airport in London, Monday July 31, 2006. Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers on July 12, triggering an Israeli offensive against Lebanon that has killed hundreds of people, mostly civilians.
36 IDF were killed since the conflict begins versus over 250 Hizballah fighters
I mean Hizballah terrorists.
22:31 Report: IAF warplanes strike five targets in Lebanon`s Bekaa Valley (AP)
Midnight, Israel time is about 1.5 hours from this post.
Iran now suggests US and Britain are "accomplices" in Lebanon. Sounds like they're admitting defeat by Hezbos.
We started seeing reports of IDF cross border raids as early as 0300-0400 EDT, 1000 lima, and we now see the first waves of rockets at 1300 EDT, 2000 lima, yielding a turnaround time for hezb's decision making cycle of 10 hours.
Israel might be wise to exploit their mobility as heavily as possible, even thinking outside the box if possible.
Bekka Valley...isn't that where it's speculated the WMD are stored?
Great, the 48 hour ban will be lifted in 3 hours!
More evidence calls for Serbification of Israel are near.
Europe is Finnished.

Last I checked, it was 96 in the shade. But the humidity is awful. Dewpoint is 75%. I'm on the 2nd floor of an old house with no a/c and it is 87 degrees in my study currently. Blech.
Israel knows how to deal with MOUT situations, bypassing them if possible, establishing overwatch, isolating the built up areas sector by sector, entering with infantry backed up by armor, possible artillery, etc.
What you are seeing here is not a major offensive, not yet, this is preparation of entry points.
And it's not that they've been sitting on their butts just waiting, either. The attack in different modes, has been going on all along. Just one more tool.
Rocking the Casbah!
Later is too late. Good bye, Europe. We don't plan on going down with you.

"Hizballah web site updates, 01 August 2006"
SNIPPET - QUOTE: SUMMARY OF THE DAY'S CHANGES [01 AUGUST 2006]: The newest site of Hizballah is now hosted entirely in Canada, while the active domains pointing to the site are all registered with a US firm. al-Manar has returned to India, yet again, after being summarily booted from a datacenter in the USA. We've done our best to update all the relevant posts. 22 Hizballah domains are currently active, either with content of their own, drawing content from other domains or forwarding visitors to domains with content. The vast majority of the service providers involved are American. Canada runs a distant second, while India brings up the rear (albeit with a site of great significance).
