We have (believe it or not) a standing work order for electrical from 1994. We bought in '82. One of my twin daughters keeps trying to talk us into moving into the other side of the duplex she owns, but her rent is $300 more than our mortgage. She and her twin sister (a real estate agent) keep telling us to sell as a fixer-upper. For crying out loud, we bought it as a fixer-upper. But we had 4 kids and have played host family for 3 grandkids. :)

What is the significance of Yammouni? What is supposedly hidden there? Maybe Saddam's WMDs. :)

Sorry to say this but it sounds like you have a major problem there. I have seen this enough. unless you can do the work yourself then you are looking at a huge bill!!!

has syria tunneled to lebanon ???? I have no doubt there is an underworld to be found under the entire ME. ME'erners(?) are prone to digging tunnels. They were doing it as far back as the 1500s when the Ottomans made their farthest foray into Europe. Vienna, Austria. The Vienna battle was a big win against Islam. IMHO, the win should be attributed to a Christian who escaped from the Turkish encampment and warned the Austrians that the Turks were tunneling under the walls/gates of the city. It's a fascinating war read.

As does mine. And on the U.S. homefront...is anyone paying enough attention?

How about the choosing "Burger King" over a restaurant you see of the interstate that you don't recognize...how you'll choose Burger King, even though the last experience you had at a Burger King horrible. It's better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. Also the mind tends to intellectualize by saying I'll go to BK but I'll avoid the products or ordering method that I used last time and things will be OK. Anyway BK must be OK since there are so many of them in business.
