How about the choosing "Burger King" over a restaurant you see of the interstate that you don't recognize...how you'll choose Burger King, even though the last experience you had at a Burger King horrible.

It's better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. Also the mind tends to intellectualize by saying I'll go to BK but I'll avoid the products or ordering method that I used last time and things will be OK. Anyway BK must be OK since there are so many of them in business.
