When terrorists can hide in residential neighborhoods, be it Lebanon or L.A., and send off rockets at will and the locals stand by and "watch" the locals have just become terrorists as well.

When you're not sure of the ideology of the one you speak to, tis better to err on the side of caution.

But I do agree that the average citizen bears responsibility for the government in which they live under.

I think you make an important point about "folding" Hezbollah into the Lebanese army. My guess is that some of them are already there. The army controlled the radar on the coast that may well have allowed that Silkworm missle to hit the Israeli ship which would lead one to suspect that the army is already infected with this vermin. Bringing more of them in and then spend lots on beefing up their abilities may be a recipe for utter disaster.
