Personnally i dont believe the story.
McPain and Hilary are both adults and well aware of the after effects of drunken binges. She may well have kidded about such a contest, but I doubt either is stupid enough to risk their lives in such a stupid endeavor.
Besides McPain is not totally dumb , He knows about Ft. Marcy and Hillary's last "friend".

But think about this. This country is overwhelmingly divided down the middle. Most democrats would never vote for a republican and vice-versa. And we are stuck with an almost 50-50 election outcome. Just look at the last 2 elections. Most Americans are dead-set in their political views.
Ah, but here come McCain and Clinton. I can already hear it. 2 for the price of 1. Uniters, not dividers. The "best" of both worlds. Have your cake and eat it too.
I think that, after much polling and focus groups on both sides, a new political party will form. And that is one with both parties joining as 1.
God help us if it ever does. What America needs is another Reagan. Unfortunately, there are no conservatives on the horizon that can, or will, fill his shoes.
