I think this whole story is fiction. Isn't McLame required by a Pre-Nup to drink only BUDWEISER? After all..he dumped his first wife for a BUD babe's fortune in Phoenix.

I can't. McCain would never accept being number 2 on the ticket and Hillary would never run as a Rep or Independent. I don't think the Dems would ever accept McCain on their ticket.

Makes one wonder what confidences McCain may have broken, or strategies shared, or secrets uttered in a drunken stupor might have been recorded by Hillary's minions, don't it.
Fast forward to October 2007, and McCain has sadly convinced enough Republicans to nominate him, and he is way ahead of Hillary in the polls:
