At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

"Patti Simon was at work at the federation's newspaper on the first floor when she heard screaming, shots and what sounded like furniture crashing on the floor above. "We heard this horrible screaming on the floor above us and shots," said Simon, 52, who sells advertising at the paper. "We didn't know what was happening." Simon called up to her co-workers on the second floor, but got no answer, so she called the police and fled the building.
"People got shot, some of our co-workers," Simon said, her voice shaking. "I just got back from Israel and made it out of there a half hour before the rockets started."
Simon said the federation has security in the building. "Somebody must have lied their way in," Simon said.
Eric M. Richley, 29, was sentenced to five years in prison for ramming a mosque in Cleveland with his car six days after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
They were so courageous. For all they knew the guy was wired to self-explode or had something else coming....

Wasn't it a bike cop that went right up to the house (alone) when the guy shot up the house after the rave party? It was only a few minutes by the time he got there and he confronted the guy and the guy killed himself with his shotgun - no doubt saving many more lives.
There ARE a lot of Islamonazi Pakis in Canada...they ran there, shortly after 9/11, when they thought that America was going to go after them.

There was a photo from the "Stranger" (liberal rag) after the WTO riots several years ago that showed an anarachist up close with his face covered and both "fingers" in the face of a cop. The cop was in his line looking straight ahead, hands on his baton across his chest as I recall. I made a copy of it with the caption Thanks Seattle Cops for your Professionalism, etc..... I passed them out at the pro-cop rally they had a couple weeks after the WTO thing. The cops loved it!

Nothing's gotten to me yet but even if I did know something, I wouldn't be able to talk about it. Info has to be disseminated through appropriate channels, and violations of that are normally an instant-firing offense and people who do that are commonly prosecuted as well.
