At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

The reporting here has been pretty pathetic. FR reports that the guy is a Paki, maybe an immigrant, from Pasco WA. There is a mosque there (middle of the desert). Someone also said one of the 9/11 bombers came from a small mosque in the sticks near San Diego. Coincidence? Recall there was a cell broken up in central Oregon a couple years ago. Jackrabbits and terrorists. Go figure.

My wife worked at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle up to four years ago.
When my daughter turned 6, we held a water-party in the backyard with a pool, sprinklers, squirt guns, water balloons, etc. Many Jewish kids from the neighborhood and our local Jewish day school attended.
Not one mother let their child go home with their brightly colored squirt gun, because it was shaped like a gun.
Now that I'm in North Dakota, I'm armed to the teeth, and my daughter knows how to use the guns. Any Muzzies want to take on the armed Jewish contingent up here will have to contend with me and my well armed Christian neighbors.
It's what she didn't say. She was very careful not to reveal anything at all -- didn't talk about hate crimes, or anything. Just that the FBI is looking into the guys relatives ("and contacts" conspicuously not mentioned!).
I think the FBI's more interested in this guy than they want to let on -- not because of him, but because of his contacts. I have no problem believing the claim that this fellow acted alone, on his own initiative. He's probably a hot-headed loony. But his "associates..." they're could be more interesting.

It's terrible but the police, etc did a great job. Got the guy outta there in less than 15 minutes. People bleeding in the meantime. They may have saved a few lives.
