At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

Latest news said a shotgun was used. Injuries to arms, groin, abdomen, and knees I think. Women are all in their 20's to 40's. One 20 weeks pregnant (arm wound).

You make sense to me-investigating mosques is what we should have started doing on 12 September, 2001. But I realize not all mosques are going to be suspect, just the ones that have muslims in them..

Let's not forget this shooting could be a "test" of police and emergency vehicles reactions. This "angry Muslim" could be the tip of the proverbial terrorist iceberg.
The Beslen school attacks actually made me think how easy that identical scenario could happen in the USA.
In fact, could you not think of a better way to truly instill terror in this country? Have 100 teams of 5 imbedded terrorists assault 100 elementary schools across the USA on the same day. Or 100 businesses, malls, etc.
The point is, since the terrorists would be on a suicide mission, they would simply open up and kill/wound as many children as possible.
Then imagine the usual terrorist mantra broadcast on Al Jazerra intoning how "today's glorious attacks are but a small sample of what Palestine and Lebonese children have been tolerating over the years due to Israeli and U.S. policy.."
Think a few parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, etc. would be in a mood to discuss tolerance of cultural differences or engage in the politics of what just happened? Talk about opening Pandora's Box or awakening a sleeping giant! The response would have to be so intense and severe as to make Truman's decision in August 1945 a giggle.
I would ALMOST feel sorry for most of the MidEast. Almost.
