An Israeli soldier waves a tattered Hezbollah flag as he returns from fighting around the southern Lebanese village of Marun Al-Ras to a position along Israel's northeastern border with its neighbour. Israel geared up to intensify its deadly offensive against Lebanon, readying thousands more reservists after claiming it had won the green light from the world to crush Hezbollah.

I am the biggest Condi fan on the planet, but I REALLY do not get that outfit. If someone can explain it to me I would appreciate it.....
Bra strap hanging down is understandable, what in all that is holy is she wearing on her feet ( and ankles)........are they socks???? Are they rain-boots??? Anybody with a clue?????
I wanted to tell you and everybody here about the Lubbock family who has lost both of their sons in the WOT, one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Here's the thread:
And here's a Light-A-Candle page I started for them if you get a second to do it. I've sent the link to their local paper to get it to them.

'It was all so very fast (Great account of Bint Jbeil battle)
Thanks, BK, I've been keeping up as best I can, it's been really busy work-wise this week and I know I've missed a lot of important information.
Oh Lord, that man is dangerous to himself and others.
I'm gonna guess that the sheer 3/4-length duster jacket she is wearing got wet and bled the fabric dye unevenly onto her legs.
Otherwise, I see the low heels I spied the other day in place of her big bad cfm boots.
Am I close?
From the Condi/Rave Review thread:
She arrived at the Istana hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur for the annual gala dinner wearing a glamorous red dress and red jacket made of traditional Malaysian batik material.
The dress was designed by Faisol Abdullah, a friend of the Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, and was custom-made for Rice.
Do you know where I could get or see a transcript? I'd like to get an "official" source for that quote.
Cheers!
That just looks too weird (legs) to be anything that someone would intentionally wear. Shadow maybe - odd lighting effect?
Look again, closely. Don't you recognize a cape and superhero boots when you see them?
Cheers!
thank you from #12,,,
She has on black silk high heels. The red Silk over-dress and red dress are very much in keeping with traditional clothing in that part of the world.
