Video at STACLU of an ambulance with a U.N. flag carrying Jihadis away from a fight. Watch until the end of the YouTube video found here and you will see the U.N. flag displayed prominently on the vehicle that the Jihadis are using to leave the scene of a fight.

It's a little hard to see what is going on, but at one point someone can be heard to yell clearly "Allahu Akhbar" before the shooting starts.

I expect the UN response to be something like this: "Israel should be condemned for allowing the jihadists to mis-use the UN flag in such a way..."

The UN "peace keepers" are only there for the money and sex with small children. They are on the side of whomever let's them get away with the most.

In an ideal world this video would be shown over and over on every channel in the United States. It CLEARLY shows the UN Ambulance being used by the jihadis.

I am at a loss for words as to how many implications this should have. I am sure, however, the MSM will miss it entirely while they make sure to interview another lebanese survivor of an israeli airstrike.

Don't want to put a damper on this but....isn't this the same video I saw a couple of years ago saying the U.N. was helping the Palistinians?
My memory fails me at times, but this looks like the same one. If so it is at least a few yrs old.

This is another reason why the US military should never be in command of the UN.

Nice Camouflage! The Israelis should interpret "UN" to mean "Unload on me Now"

Ours and Israel's Declaration of Independence from the UN should include:

...has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Islamofacist Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

I can't understand why Israel didn't order the UN out of the area at the start of hostilities, with the statement "Due to the fluid tactical situation and the willingness of Hezbulla to integrate around civilian and the U.N. areas, using both as defensive shields, we cannot guarantee the safety of the U.N. observers if they remain."

Though I confess I have not been keeping detailed track of Israeli politics, I believe that the guy currently running the show is Israel's "Clinton". Israel's reputation as a serious, competent military power is taking a hit in this conflict. The unwillingness of Olmert to take Israel to total war while the country is under rocket attack is EXACTLY what Iran, Syria, and other the other Muslim dogs of war are looking for. Weakness. Indecisiveness. And most of all, fear.

When the Muslims believe that Israel fears them, Israel will find herself under a multi-country attack. No Arab (or Persian) country will want to be left out of the spoils of dealing the "Zionist pigs" the ultimate death blow. Israel may survive as it has previous wars, but Israel WILL have to fight an all-out war, and probably with significant destruction on Israeli soil and lost of Israeli life.

I can fully understand Israel being circumspect when committing it's troops to battle; in a country of only 6 million with perhaps a half million under arms, they have few reserves. They can't afford to be overextended. They can't afford to make a mistake.

However, failing to decisively move on Lebanon, to clearly warn Syria to "stay out" of the conflict and to demand Syria expel Hezbulla leaders, or be willing to take on Syria directly, to fail to call Iran's bluff on the willingness to fight in behalf of Syria, constitutes weakness that will encourage Israel's enemy's to all out war.

In an asymmetrical war of attrition between guerrillas and governments, time is almost always on the guerrilla's side. There is no substitute for victory, and no greater deterrent than a quick, decisive victory. Therein also lies America's mistake in her "War on Terror", confusing victory with "nation building". But that's a discussion for another thread.

Why bother asking?

From the comments and speeches of overpaid corrupt UN bureacrazis themselves the answer is clear: Arab Muslim Palestine is good. Israel is bad.

I wasn't able to open it, but I wouldn't be surprised that the UN (using US dollars of course!) was fixing them up to fight another day.
