(watch closely and you'll see a soccer ball dropped to an Iraqi child from an American helicopter)
--- From Steffan Tubbs at 850 KOA ---
This is just amazing... sent to me from a soldier in Iraq on Monday.
Take a look... this is why it was worth doing our soccer ball drive! Please, tell a friend... and just when you think you're having a tough day, imagine being the little boy in this video. Look at his "yard" and his environment. Man, we're lucky.

Steffan - I'm glad the file worked and you were able to post it. Looking forward to having more soccer balls to share across Iraq. Thanks again,

I got chills watching that. Can you imagine how happy that child is now?
Reminds me of "pennies from heaven"!
Very cool. God bless them for their generosity.
Why don't we give them "real" footballs?
Going to drop them a set of DVD's so they can learn the rules at the same time?
Just don't send them a DVD of the last Superbowl...don't want them to think the ref's are supposed to cause one team to win in every game.
Screen... blurry
Great video of the American military is a very familiar role.
Thanks for sharing. Now let me go turn on CNN and watch fo this........
Ping. Check out the video.
Yeah, it'll come on right after the "Thank You America" ad the Kurds in Iraq took...
Geez oh Pete!
I bet that boy felt like a King to have that ball!
God Bless our troops!
Thanks for that video! Here's to the next generation in Iraq, may they have a civilized society to govern someday.
Great Video. One of my favorite mission was the ones when we had soccor balls to drop. We would fly over villages looking for kids then kick balls over to them. As time went on, the Iraqi kids instead of running from our Hawks, would run to them. We also had 'candy bombs' which were ziploc bags filled with candy that were greatly appreciated by these beautiful kids. jesseam
