Absolutely FANTASTIC movie and yes, the people in that movie ( all of whom really were FREAKS in circuses and carnivals, at the time ), were a whole lot more NORMAL than the Rodham/Clinton bunch!
The upshot is that I'm into that kind of stuff, but Carnivale just didn't hook me.
Well said.........
Are you kidding???
Remember that we all had to pool together and send a poor waitress tips that the witch ran away from!!!
The show just kept getting better and better and BETTER, as it went on.
But if it didn't "hook" you, it didn't HOOK you; no big deal.
Did you watch and like TWIN PEAKS?
Do you know anything about the 1930s?
Have you ever seen FREAKS and LOVED it?
Have you ever read SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES and loved it?
If you can't answer YES to all four of those questions, it's probably part of the reason you couldn't get into the show. It really wasn't just something you can lump into the horror genre, only.
What films were covered in your college class and what were your favorite films?
I'm signing off for the day, but I'd like to read your definition of "dark." I'm curious.
Okay, I'll send you a FREEPmail. :-)
The money is undoubtedly a payoff to the Clintons disguised as a loan. The payoff was for the pardon, typical small town political corruption.
Thanks for the ping!
I Just saw it in my weekly Washington Times.
What a bunch of slime-balls this klan is!
Tony "saaaays" he returned 400 Large he was compensated by his client and now Slick's little golfing buddy has a bankruptcy court on his ass for the money he received for 'loans' from his soon-to-be bankrupt pardoned client.
