Let's see, Carnival Company founder gets presidential (lower case) pardon against justice dept recommendation, Tony Rodham-Rodham, known to have made a living by pimping presidential pardons....gets $100,000 "loan"...and now the carnie vendor wants payback?
Where is the justice? Tony Rodham-Rodham pimped that $100,000 dollars fair and square by Clinton family rules. If Hilly is selected in 2008, she should just rescind that presidential pardon if the recipient isn't willing to pay for it. Honor among thieves.
Maybe Tony could hit up his ex-mother in law, Barbara Boxer, for some grit. "Baby Boxer-Rodham" might need a new pair of shoes.

The whole family is a carnival act. The Clinton/Rodhams are a bunch of corrupt thieves.
Climate of corruption ping
Actually the beauty of this is that:
A. Tony gets $100,000.00 Loan.
B. Carnival Company Founder gets presidential pardon.
C. No one expects that loan needs to be paid back.
D. Bankruptcy filed.
E. ALL ASSETS AND DEBTS REQUIRED TO BE DISCLOSED.
F. Guess what? Loan needs to be repaid as per bankruptcy laws.
G. Tony doesn't repay loan.
H. Default judgment against Tony WITH INTEREST.
I. End Result: Tony is out $140,000.00.
No one else is expected to pay back bribes. This is very unfair.
What was it with that show? It's been repeatedly recommended to me, but I barely made it through the first three episodes (of season 1) on DVD before I gave up. Should I give it another shot?

Have you ever seen the 1932 movie, "Freaks"? It is on every once in a while on TCM. The people depicted in that movie are quite normal compared to this family.

"Rodham" Family Tree....
Eugene Judy, a professional genealogical researcher, discovered that
Hillary Clinton's great-great uncle, Remus Rodham, a fellow lacking in
character, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the
gallows.
On the back of the picture is this inscription: "Remus Rodham; horse
thief, sent to Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the
Montana Flyer six times. Caught by Pinkerton detectives, convicted and
hanged in 1889."
Judy emailed Hillary Clinton @NY.Gov for comments. Hillary's staff of
professional image adjusters cropped Remus's picture, scanned it,
enlarged the image, and edited it with image processing software so that all that's seen is a head shot.
The accompanying biographical sketch is as follows:
"Remus Rodham was a famous cowboy in the Montana Territory. His
business empire grew to include acquisition of valuable equestrian
assets and intimate dealings with the Montana railroad. Beginning in
1883, he devoted several years of his life to service at a government
facility, finally taking leave to resume his dealings with the railroad.
In 1887, he was a key player in a vital investigation run by the
renowned Pinkerton Detective Agency. In 1889, Remus passed away during an important civic function held in his honor when the platform upon which he was standing collapsed... :"

I knew there was an official Freak Show in that family somewhere.
The show was multileveled, incorporated bits and pieces of actual, historically correct music, clothing, authentic carnival terms/acts/behavior, mixed in with old mystery/fantasy/horror genres, which tickled me and a lot of others. I'm a BIG fan of Browning's movies; "FREAKS" being just one of them.
CARNAVALE was sort of like TWIN PEAKS meets FREAKS meets tinfoil...stir well, and show.
