Congressman Major Owens. I called his office and they confirmed it claiming they had no idea she would protest though.

What a bunch of liars! Even if they lived under a rock they would know Media Benjamin and CODE PINKO!

I called Major Owens' office. A nice guy CONFIRMED that they had given Medea Benjamin the seat but had no idea who she was! I said that could not be possible. He said that she didn't give the name "Medea" when she requested the seat. He went on to say that Major Owens had no connection with her or her views and did not support Code Pink. I said I hope not, that as an American I was deeply ashamed of what happened.
