"Interestingly, voters like the results of conservative governance as Reagan's and Deukmejian's landslides easily attest."

Certainly nothing being served up by Arnold can pass for 'conservative governance,' so I suspect that his bright prospects for reelection stem from the sheer dread of the thought of Pill Angelides as governor. That hateful little gargoyle has become concentrated Rino-power.

Any intelligent debate requires a definition of terms, something you'll never get from the media.

Party politics aside for a moment, the election is being decided right now. People need to take just a moment and compare how Governor Schwarzenegger is addressing our current statewide energy demand caused by record crushing high temperates, then think back to the energy failing of his predecessor, and Phil Angelides mentor, Grey Davis. People need to refresh the memories of hardship caused by the previous administration and speak of the early decisive actions taken by Governor Schwarzenegger to protect lives in the current energy emergency.

We are in a crisis right now, and if Governor Schwarzenegger had not taken early decisive actions a great many more people would have died as a result of the heat driven energy demand, and most likely everyone would be facing rising base energy price increases instead of stabilized prices.

This is news! Governor Schwarzenegger minimized the suffering and hardship before body counts could hit the hundreds or thousands. Hospitals have power, fire stations have power, most all the state has had continuous power, and what blackouts have occurred have been relatively small and handled as quickly as possible due to the leadership of the governor.

Was it mere days ago I saw a blip in the Headlines that Governor Arnold was wooing Dems? I didn't have time to read all the wherewithal, but I could predict what was going on here in FR about that story.

Yes, Gov Arnold is doing what needs to be done. The shadow government has always planned to build their operation on the west coast, San Francisco. Arnold's so-called "moderateness" has been, effectively useful, in this regard, IMHO. The key is to hold Los Angeles. And I think Gov Arnold is doing that despite the large constituency of illegal immigrants.

One of the first rules of warfare is to contain and isolate. San Francisco will by proxy become the first "people zoo" where folks from all over the world will come to tour and see the "sights" and funny humans locked into an ideology. In this regard, perhaps one day San Francisco will thereby become self-sufficient economically and not be dragging down CA as a whole in confiscatory, subsidized taxations.

That hateful little gargoyle has become concentrated Rino-power

You've done it, now! Yours is the most succinct description of Angelides ("hateful little gargoyle"), the image is locked into place. He is indeed a little gargoyle, never inside the church, but outside, posed in hateful glory. lol.
