I wonder if PETA has ever heard of a fish kill. You put this chemical in a pond or lake and all the Oxygen is taken out of the water. All the fish float to the top. Everyone that wants to comes in boats and gets the fish. The pond or lake is restocked.

Have you heard any of their recent stuff? "Give me Immortality or give me Death?" "Bride of Firesign?" "Anything You Want To (the lost Shakespere play?)"

The only reason they're concerned is that PETA members are "bottom feeders" too.

I am Kristin's sister-in-law.
FYI, Kristin has a degree in biology and a minor in criminal justice.
So, to answer you question on what degree she has. I think my sister is qualified.
Thank you.
Jennifer
PS:
I am a fairly conservative Republican. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if I happen to disagree on a topic. Kristin a lovely individual and very well rounded. One can debate a topic with her and part as friends.

Thank you for signing up to clarify that, I appreciate it. Now that that issue is clarified, please allow me to appologize for my remarks.
I am a fairly conservative Republican.
As a fairly conservative Republican, would you please give me your opinion on the legal precedent that PeTA, and other like-minded groups, are trying to establish that animals have rights equal to those of people? What are your thoughts on where this could lead with regard to hunting, fishing, and having animals in general as pets, in addition to the effect it would have on the American judicial system?
What are your thoughts on individuals such as Jerry Vlasack and Rodney Coronado, and the actions that they take to force their views on others? What are your thoughts, and I'm especially interested in hearing your sister-in-law's thoughts, on PeTA covering extensive legal fees for an individual like Rod Coronado?
As a fairly conservative Republican, what are your views on private property rights? Do you think that individuals like Vlasack and Coronado should spend more time in jail for destruction of private property? If innocent, law-abiding people happen to fall victim, and lose their life to the actions of animal rights groups, what do you think the punishment should be for those crimes?
What are your thoughts on the castle doctrine, and law-abiding citizens using lethal force to defend themselves from something that poses a direct threat to their life, from animal rights radicals for instance?
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if I happen to disagree on a topic. Kristin a lovely individual and very well rounded. One can debate a topic with her and part as friends.
Absolutely, and I agree with you 100%. In America, we are free to do so. I have no problem with people who choose not to eat meat, wear leather/fur, or use animal-based products in general. I am a very avid angler and hunter, and truthfully, I do not have a problem with groups or people who don't fish/hunt, and encourage others not to either. Its for me, not for some, and I respect that and I have plenty of friends who don't.
However, I do have a problem with people who try to use fed/state/local governments to force those views on the whole of society.
I have no tolerance, nor do I accept, the position of groups like the ALF, ELF, PeTA and other groups that embrace the extremist view that the life of an animal(s) equals the life of a human. PeTA, from Ingrid Newkirk down, has embraced and openly expressed that violence and destruction of private property, to the point of taking human lives, are acceptable means of delivering their message and forcing that view on others. For the record, this conservative is a strong supporter of the castle doctrine.
I will appologize, again, to your sister-in-law for my remarks, and feel free to do so on my behalf. I will take your word that she is a great person, and I will be kind enough to give her the benefit of the doubt that her views are not all that extreme.

KristinSister, you said:Kristin (sic)
a lovely individual and very well rounded. One can debate a topic with her and part as friends.I have a hard time reconciling the "well rounded" part with an individual who chooses to remain in the employ of Ingrid Newkirk: Our nonviolent tactics are not as effective. We ask nicely for years and get nothing. Someone makes a threat, and it works. Ingrid Newkirk, in the April 8, 2002 issue of US News & World Report and Bruce Friedrich: "I think it's perfectly appropriate for people to take bricks and toss them through the windows ... Hallelujah to the people who are willing to do it. Bruce Friedrich, PETAs vegan campaign coordinator, at the Animal Rights 2001 conference.
Since you say "One can debate a topic with her", do you think Kristin would be willing to defend PETA on this forum? Are you willing to do so? Please don't turn out to be a hit-and-run poster, let's have an honest debate.

hey now-- she is a "fairly Conservative Republican."
kinda like a Reagan Democrat....but only she is a Jimmah Carter Republican?
what I don't get is how someone with a degree- can think this lawsuit is a good idea......I mean- this would mean outlawing fishing....not to mention hunting...etc...
and it ticks me off that kooks can waste tax payer money by gunking up the courts with such silly nonsense....
