Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
You're welcome!
JennysCool posted that in 2003...just ran across it last week. Ravingnutter and Cindy also have posted a lot of links within the thread.
Also, the information in the travel advisories/warnings, carry the bulk of the same wording as in MANY other countries not on the list (in terms of potential terrorist attacks, possible unrest in certain areas, etc.)...the only difference is that they encourage "all but essential travel" to that place. For instance the wording on the consular sheets for places like tanzania and Spain, is very similar, based on the attacks there (among other places).
I'm not sure that ANY are actual restrictions to a whole country on any part of the list, though I may be wrong. I think Cuba is the only one with real restrictions on what requirements allow you to travel.
I missed that! did not see that- thank you for telling me about it....
what a wonderful thing for these kids to feel like they can do something to help....
You caught me. Thanks a bunch.
Also appreciated the video clip to view his response again.
Off to read the link you provided. Again. Much appreciated.
No wonder Ginsberg feels so strongly. Wish I could figure out how to pronounce Mughniyeh's name. Any idea?
Not a bad beginning....now, I hope that the IDF destroys even more.
Thanks Doc!
Guy sounds like he is some kind of bada$$.
Thank you very much for posting that video..
Aside from Mark's using God's name in vain...he said right after it, that this Mugniya (sp)..has escaped, with help from the government?? OUR government? did you catch that part?
Yes...I read all of Grisham's books.
Bush Sends Kerry to Solve Israel-Hezbollah War
By Scott Ott, Editor-in-Chief, ScrappleFace.com
News Fairly Unbalanced. We Report. You Decipher.
(2006-07-24) After learning that the battle between Israel and Hezbollah could have been prevented if Sen. John Kerry, D-MA, had been the U.S. Commander in Chief, President George Bush today dispatched Sen. Kerry to the war-torn region to get this thing solved.
Sen. Kerry, a career Vietnam veteran, who told a political gathering in Detroit yesterday that we must destroy Hezbollah and that the president has been absent on diplomacy, said he would bring his own brand of diplomatic destruction to the terrorist group.
Senator Kerrys presence and intellect alone should bring a swift end to hostilities, said Mr. Bush, who admitted that he, and the State Department, had kind of put the Middle East thing on the back burner while following televised coverage of the Tour de France bicycle race.
In related news, as hostilities along the Lebanon border approached the two-week mark, the crisis was officially added to the list of bad things that would not have happened during a John Kerry presidency.
Little comic relief from Scrappleface.com
I think I'd rather face 10 inaccurate Katusha rockets than 10 artillery shells accurately placed. That's one of the advantages of artillery, their accuracy. As far as the destructive power, we need a military freeper to answer that question.

Thanks for posting that, DocRock. Ginsberg's animation in discussing Muganiyeh has to be seen to be believed.
In 1941, everyone knew we were fighting for our way of life.
In 2004, 48% of Americans voted for the guy who said that global Islamist terrorism is but "a nuisance" to be addressed with enhanced law enforcement (administered, presumably, by liberal Democratic judges).
It matters not whether a loss in this war would have our grandchildren speaking Farsi or Arabic -- it's time folks awakened to the reality that we don't always get to vote on whether we're at war...
Thanks...I watched the video that Doc Rock posted, and got the name..spelled it wrong but got it...LOL
