Its where 15 insanely creative people come up with designs that will keep them on the show long enough to be the winner..They have to make garments out of flowers, bedding household items, their own clothes on their back....These are talented designers and its addictive....[A reality show is something the networks can make cheap, have insane people on who want their 15 minutes of fame and make TONS of money on it,and no one asks for raises unlike real t.v. stars]

In this picture, with her looking slightly down, Miss Universe looks a little like Michael Jackson in the face. Them bodacious ta-tas look nothing like MJ. ;o)

She is lovely.

I didn't really like the dress when I saw it on project runway, but when I saw it on Tara, it was beautiful. I swear, those girls would look gorgeous in a paper bag.

I'm a little tired of South America taking all the finalist spots though. Every year, it seems.

Reality show designers create Tara Conner's Miss Universe dress
By Barbara Isaacs
Feel free to call her "American royalty."

That was the billing Kentucky's own Miss USA, Tara Conner, received last night when she was featured on Bravo's popular Project Runway reality show.

The show's designers had the task of creating the evening gown Conner will wear when she competes Sunday in the Miss Universe pageant.

"She's putting her future in your hands," said Project Runway's host, model Heidi Klum.

Conner, 20, of Russell Springs, told the designers that she's the second-shortest woman who will compete in Miss Universe this year -- she's 5-foot-5. She also suggested that they select earth tones for the fabric colors and that the neckline shouldn't be too plunging.

Seven teams of two designers each had two days to create a dress with a budget of $300 for materials.

At the final judging, Conner selected a dress with a sweetheart neckline and lots of sequins created by Kayne Gillaspie and Robert Best. When they were making it, Best told Gillaspie to go easy on the sequins: "She's a beauty queen -- not a disco ball."

"I love that gown," Conner told them when she announced that they had created the winning dress. "I'm going to work that gown."

Apparently the winner collapsed. I think you need to give the Donald a break. How would you like to be photographed next to Miss universe. Almost anyone would look bad by comparison. Hell be a dirty old man, no matter what.
