People, including teachers, have a First Amendment right to believe that homosexual activity is immoral. What a crock!

And some people still wonder why American kids are falling further and further behind most other countries kids. More and more time is devoted to these ridiculous social experiments and programs and less and less time devoted to reading, writing, math, science, etc.

The NEA cares nothing about the quality of education for children in public schools. The NEA is all about job security for it's members, PERIOD!

I think people should send emails to the NEA just to get their views on record of how disgusting a group they are becoming (for some time now).
However, I would also keep expectations realistic and realize just what kind of organization the NEA is. It is a union of workers. Who happen to teach. First and foremost a union.
They don't give two poops about whether or not you backwards parents - and if you have no kids, you better just shut up and take it up the a$$, what do you care - think about what they do. Unions care ONLY about their membership and bargaining power. That's why they exist and that is their primary reason for existence.
They can TELL you anything they want and give you pleasant platitudes and sound bites that play well with parents, but it's just bull$hit.
If you haven't considered private religious or homeschooling, just what on God's earth will get you to? How much more filth do you have to expose your kids to before it's unacceptable, or so much damage is done it destroys their faith? Incrementalism works. That's how the frog gets boiled.
