By the time I was an older teenager, they found me a lot more amusing.
I've been called 'Smartass' and 'Smart mouth' more than I have my given first name, and I'm the youngest of three.
All motivators fall under the heading of "carrot" or "stick".
Motivation was not the subject under discussion however. The subject was the Rapid Dominance doctrine, and whether it achieved our objectives in Iraq or not.
It did.
Discussion of whether the objectives were correctly identified or not is another subject, one beyond the scope of this poster at this time.
