The process for delivering F-16Is to Israel began in earnest in February, 2004. Israel expects to receive 102 F-16Is in total.

I've got a computer atlas that gives me Avavim, but don't have any way to upload maps. The coordinates for Avavim are roughly 33º 05' North, 35º 29 East, altitude 45 miles.
Marun ar Ras is roughly 2.5 miles northwest of Avavim, over the border.
Both near the extreme SE tip of Lebanon.
