Very cute....

Had the $#$** scared out of me this week.

Was sitting at the table and heard some strange pings against the house.

Called Tazman to do his manly duty and he went out sufficiently armed.

Nothing.

Heard it again but it sounded like something small and scratchy running along the gutter.

Tazman had to go look again.

3rd time I heard it, I turned all the lights out and cast a side long glance out the blinds half expecting to see red alien eyes peering in at me.

Didn't know if it was rat,bat,cat or something else.

Little later, I let Solly out.. She nailed the problem. Cicada's thumping the house under my porch light.

I hate it when I can't identify strange noises. A couple nights ago I was downstairs and kept hearing strange bumping noises all over the room. We have had squirrels in the drop ceiling before, but you can track their movement. This had no pattern, and both cats were staring at the ceiling. I was spooked. FINALLY...the culprit was revealed, after giving me a heart attack...a HUGE moth was thumping and bumping all over the ceiling in the room and bumped on my desk. Jeez....at least I knew what it was, but could never catch it.
