An Israeli soldier scouts the area near the Israel-Lebanon border, July 20, 2006.
Does Peters have any military training or background? I've read him, and usually like him but if he's just a journalist, I have no interest in listening to his analysis of the Israeli military area so far.
LOLOL! Mr. Prairie is drooling over Juliette. We haven't watched Weekend Fox&Friends for months and months. But always liked her for eye candy.
If the Israelis don't like this, the "international force" proposed is going to like this even less.
"alleged militants"....
the world has gone mad...
GO BOLTON, GO!!!!!!!
"No moral equivalence between terrorism and legitimate military action".....(in answer to question about Lebanese civilian deaths)
Bolton says the Israeli troops are massing to eliminate the missile launch points. Create a buffer zone.
Yep...retired Army officer..
Question is why Lebanese govt doesn't reign in Hezbollah.
Bolton says govt is too new, too weak. Hezbollah gets a lot of syrian support.
Gee I wish Peach was here for transcripting, but know she's taking a bit of a break.
I had to leave to post a goodie box for my son....did I miss anything?
Bolton will be back to answer questions about Iran and N Korea
Ad on now..am walking dogs before I hear "apply it to the forehead"...
UN - "China is ready to join the process" (referring to Kofi's package which they said is "a good basis on which to build.")
Claudia
Thanks. I've stolen the tv for a few minutes. Haven't watched for quiet sometime.
Idiot questioner asks what economic incentives we can provide to turn the attitude of the terrorists.
rolling EYES!!!
Bolton "we estimate that Hezbollah gets $100 mill a year from Iran and support from Syria"
Just what I was afraid of. I hope the libs aren't proven wrong in this way.
From the article you posted:
WMD hunt on in Lebanon
Report: Hizb'allah poised to launch 'dirty bomb' strike
By Ryan Jones
July 21, 2006
Israeli commandoes are hunting day and night behind enemy lines in Lebanon and Syria for weapons of mass destruction believed to be in the possession of Hizb'allah, reported WorldNetDaily's Aaron Klein in his Galil Report.
It is widely believed that former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein transfered his stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons to Syria just months prior to US invasion in March 2003. Many of those weapons were then passed on to Hizb'allah, which has a freer hand to act against Israel than its Syrian sponsors.
Klein reported that special teams of IDF Druze commandoes - chosen because of their ability to blend in to the local Arab populations - have orders to destroy long-range Iranian missiles and any chemical weapons they find, after first documenting their existence.
Dr. Rice briefing coming up shorting.
Col Ralph Peters
Trying to catch up on the thread and it may have already been thought of..........
What this area needs is an enema, not a huge pill.
I keep hearing a long range plan theme in Bolton's comments. Also Tony Snow's. Not applying bandaids anymore, going after the root problem.
LOL! Question to Bolton as to his thoughts about the UN, is it useless?
Bolton stops short of callig it useless, but makes no apologies about wanting to promote American interests and utilize the UN to facilitate that. (Major undertaking IMO)
