INFIDELS, come out come out wherever you are.....SAVAGE!
More, please! I love public displays of ignorance.
100 in Boise? It was only 94 in Houston today!
I would appreciate a refutation, instead of name-calling.
To proceed without that would be a waste of my time, since you clearly aren't thinking about what I posted - you'd rather demonstrate blind allegiance to the voice on the radio.
Hey those bot-type post are boring. You can go to the Rush threads, the Hannity thread, or the Levin threads and get rah-rah-zisk-boom-bah- type posters. I don't really mind differences of opinions about Savage, actually I welcome interchange of opinion even if it's negative, I'm just not into meaningless hit and run disparaging type postings.
Honestly? I sometimes look at these threads and yesterday I read that he was attacking Israel and it dawned on me that his instability and obnoxious personality was the reason I stopped listening to him.
Or maybe you just couldn't handle it anymore. No slam against you; some people just have a threshold level.
Yesterday Savage disappointed 99% of us. It wasn't a good day. If he continues down that course, he will lose at least one more.
That's peripheral! You mind his attacks on liberals, his defense of our military, his defense of marriage, his pro-life stance, his anti-illegals position, his attacks on the media, his pro-Christian sentiments, his constant reading from the Bible, his obvious love for the country and overall embracement of conservative ideals which is the main reason his thread is ALLOWED on the FreeRepublic forum?
That's what I'm saying. An opinion is fine. But someone trolling a thread just to disparege Savage & his fans gets old, fast.
That's funny. I like that he's obnoxious because it's usually directed at liberals and pseudo-conservatives. But more women than men find this trait a turn-off but then again there's more lib women than men.
If you were to read yesterday's thread you would see that we may be Savage cheerleaders but we definitely aren't Savage-bots.
Not sure what got into him yesterday. It wasn't so much a direct attack against Israel, it was against a strategy they were employing that Savage felt would make things worse for everyone. It was a very un savage-like show, quite 'obnoxious' to my senses.
Well thanks for offering your reasons for being here, even if we differ on our feelings about Savage, afterall we're all Freepers in one aspect or another.
Well that's why I confront them to get to the truth, isn't that what we all want? After all we're all of the same Freeper community right? It seems that a lot of these so-called trolls were at one time Savage nation listeners who became disenchanted with Savage somewhere along the line.
Hey after yesterday's show that's understandable. But we're all conservatives and it's the issues that bind us not one man's ego or personality.
He is the Howard Beal of radio, that is for sure.
Philistine=Palestine
I consistently listen to Savage, and enjoy his shows. I clearly see his flaws, and wish they didn't exist......but they do. Through it all, he is the best there is on the radio at this time. All of the big problems facing this country can be boiled down to Borders, language and culture. Without them, we do not exist as a nation. For that message alone he deserves some respect. As long as he stays out of the nut house, or doesn't go wimpy like Medved or Rush, he remains numero uno.......some immigrant lingo.
I'm bi-lingual too!. 'I'll have a Sam Adams, Senor bartender.'
'I clearly see his flaws'
Seems to me that we ALL have flaws, my friend.
When you lay yourself bare sometimes, like he does, those flaws become all too apparent.
Then you have the divide: those who dislike him for them, and those who can look past them, and accept them.
From what i've seen of the other talker threads, i can't remember the last time i saw even 1 negative comment about the talk show host in question.
The Savage thread, on the other hand, seems to be 'open season' on Savage at times. Try doing the same on any other thread and see if you are welcomed with open arms.
Yes, i know i've been here for less than 2 months, but i have looked around quite a bit to get a feel for FR: and i like.
