If you split one cell off and the other goes on to be born, then the cell you split off has the same potential and you are still destroying a life.

Did they say where it had been mislaid during passage of MediPill, Highway bills, and other multi-billion dollar boondoggles too numerous to mention?I doubt it. It will either go back into hiding, or run out of ink after W signs his signature.

WRONG! Government spending is needed in areas where private companies are unwilling or unable to invest capital. Wrong! Government spending is to be used to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity..."
It is not to substitute for spending "where private companies are unwilling or unable to invest capital."

Perhaps I misunderstood. Are you against abortion for any reason or not?I did not realize the only method of obtaining the material was from abortions? Are you contrnding that all of the material is human and it is therefore a sancitfication issue? How do you juxtapose that with the rest of medical advaancements?

God bless President Bush. I said during the 2004 election that if he lost because of his stand on abortion, he would still be a winner. I feel the same way about him today.

He missed about another dozen lousy bills that should have been vetoed. He sign more spending bills than any five democrats combined. And people go ga-ga over this single one.

Is it ethical to pull the plug on a comatose patient just to have the heart for a transplant operation? I don't think I would want to receive a heart under that circumstance. Just because you have a problem with killing old people to harvest their organs, don't try to force your morality on the rest of us.
Sheesh ... you Jerry Falwell types give the Republican party a bad name.

Having religion rule your life is fine. I just don't want it ruling the government. A little late, I'm afraid.

We came from NJ (originally from PA, but spent about a decade in the NYC tristate area) so it was like night and day. Or should I say, coming out of darkness into the light, haha. People actually go to CHURCH here! :)

Wow! You really don't want to answer that question! I guess that's all the answer I need. As you are pro-abortion, you definitely can't have any problem with ESCR.
