Israel Strikes Vehicles it Says Carried Explosives from Syria
The Israeli army said on Tuesday it had destroyed four trucks traveling from Syria with weapons and munitions destined for Hizbullah in the Bekaa.
"Our planes identified and destroyed these four trucks coming from Syria that were transporting weapons and munitions destined to replenish Hizbullah's stocks in south Lebanon," a spokeswoman said, adding that the contents and destination of the trucks were based on "intelligence".
"We have warned repeatedly that we would attack anything linked to Hizbullah," she added.
Since Israel started its offensive in Lebanon last Wednesday, several roads connecting Syria and Lebanon have been attacked.
It resumes at first light. The ship the US contracted with should be sitting there right now.
Your post was absolutely chilling.
How many Hezballocks will be on those ships?
Well...your post makes me feel a lot better.../sarc.
I didn't hear that call...and I thought the part about 9/11 was a conspriracy theory nut assertion.
Report: Rice will visit Israel on Sunday or Monday
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is expected to arrive for a visit to Israel and other Middle Eastern states on Sunday or Monday.
Sources in Washington told Ynet that rice is not planning on demanding a ceasefire. (Yitzhak Ben-Horin, Washington)

looks like this thing will go into at least Sunday or Monday and maybe beyond given she ain't looking for a cease fire
. About time Europe wakes up and smells the coffee.
Maybe she should bring Albright along as an advisor. /s
Wouldn't surprise me in the least. The main issue really isn't Israel, and maybe never was. Israel was the tool to put people on the same page, some times. The dream is for a recreated Caliphate, and who will be the ruler of it, for a global level Islamic nation. The image isn't like the old UAE, which was more secular. The dreamers of this dream see a much more religious image of what it should be, a reacreation of the 12th or 13th century, idealized and dolled up.
"Maybe she should bring Albright along as . . . "
A doormat - Albright allows the world's dictators to step all over her.
I read his article...notice the date that he mentioned that Israel started "changing"....1993.
Also...IF he is talking about the US now, also...I am afraid one of the only men in Washington..that understands that is George Bush.
If that was all it was, we could deal with it.
Israel let the US and the Eurobullies put them into a consession mode in chasing a chimera of peace. And now the whirlwind is about to be reaped, I think.
I see this differently as of now. The al-Queda sites are full of anger towards all manner of Arabs. (see jveritas' comments earlier). The more I peruse, the more I see the possibility of them eating their own. Hissy-fit-bullah may have done us a great favor.
Daniel Pipes on FNC right now.
"Yes...and if a chopper full of Americans was shot down...what would they say then?"
Chris "Round of Face Yet Harsh of Voice" Matthews and rest of the MSM crew would spout off something like:
"Bush and his staff were clearly at fault by permitting so many Americans to be in Lebanon without any plans to evacuate them because everyone knew it was a powderkeg, now, by rushing in so quickly, safety was ignored. Under Kerry or Gore, this would not have happened."
Whatever happen to Lebanon born US Marine Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun? Did we ever get him back in custody?
Note to Iran: We still owe you for that '79 embassy thing. No statute of limitations like in the American civil legal system.
As I understand it, Hezbollah has had 6 years to stock up on weapons in South Lebanon. So here we are in day 5 of a war that they have planned on for at least that long and they are already needing replenishment from Syria. Makes no sense to me.
Given the above and the fact that Israel has went to great lengths to restrict the movement of materials from Syria one might wonder just where those 10,000 rockets that Hezbollah has left actually are stored. I think everyone is assuming they are in Lebanon, most likely in South Lebanon.
Maybe they aren't. Maybe most are still in Syria. Just maybe.
And dance with her.
