Bless you dear Peach:) I should have said..at night it's green tea..with practically NO caffeine.

So..did you just hear those fellows on H & V? The office must be getting a little tense ...Cowan and Bevelacqua have diametrically opposed views on this issue. Cowan was shouting he's so upset...

The consensus between them...this is no holds-barred time.

Nasrallah Will Give Tel Aviv Residents One Hour to Flee
Israel National News ^ | Jul 19, '06 | Nissan Ratzlav-Katz

Posted on 07/18/2006 6:54:50 PM PDT by conservativepoet

Arab press sources close to the Hizbullah say that residents of Tel Aviv will be given one hour to flee before the terrorist group launches a barrage of missiles at the city...."The Lebanese resistance is preparing a retaliation parallel to Israel's military actions. Hassan Nasrallah will address the people of Tel Aviv and warn them to evacuate the city within one hour. As soon as the delay ends, hundreds of heavy missiles will start landing in the city, which has been divided into squares in order to let damage reach every inch of the city. An estimated 500 missiles are expected to land in Tel Aviv in a short period of time."

LOL. I know just what you mean.

I don't usually watch the shout shows at night, but I really wanted to hear what James Woolsey had to say and then Steven Emerson was on (his was the first book I read after 9/11).

Colmes never met a war he thought was just, unless it was a war Clinton engaged in, of course.

I almost never run the air conditioner. It's in the 90s outside. The house is in the mid 80s right now. I have fans everywhere.

But I am having hot flashes. One minute I'm fine, the next, hot all over.

Summer fun!

I hope we don't try to pull Israel back; if they stop before it's finished, we'll just be right back to where we were. (That doesn't sound right but you know what I mean. LOL)

I'd just as soon see this entire thing finished once and for all and I don't like that Israel is expected to do all the heavy lifting alone.

See you all tomorrow.

The world is about to catch up on about a hundred years of "deferred history".

Syria´s Not-So-Hidden Hand in Lebanon Struck by IDF

01:01 Jul 19, '06 / 23 Tammuz 5766
by Nissan Ratzlav-Katz

Even as IAF planes on Tuesday destroyed four trucks that entered Lebanon from Syria, apparently carrying military supplies for the Hizbullah, the IDF denies Syria is a target.

IDF Chief of Operations Major-General Gadi Eizenkot told reporters on Tuesday that Israeli planes destroyed, and are continuing to target, trucks coming into Lebanon from Syria smuggling ammunition, weapons or supplies for the Hizbullah. Maj.-Gen. Eizenkot reiterated that the fatal projectile fired by Hizbullah terrorists at Haifa on Sunday, which killed eight railway employees, was a 220mm rocket originating in Syria. Hizbullah says the weapons launched at Haifa were Iranian-made Raad missiles.

In their comments in recent days, United States President George Bush and United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair both laid the blame for the current violence in Lebanon and Israel on "extremist elements" backed by Syria and Iran - with Bush naming Hizbullah specifically.

Despite the Syrian supply lines to the Hizbullah, however, Maj.-Gen. Eizenkot emphasized that all strikes on the trucks took place on Lebanese soil. He further insisted that neither the Syrians nor the national Lebanese military is a target in IDF attacks.

In earlier phases of the ongoing war with Lebanon, referred to by some media outlets as the "Re-Engagement War", Israeli planes did strike Lebanese army radar positions that were used in a deadly attack on an Israeli gunship stationed off the coast of Lebanon. Israeli planes also previously hit a border crossing connecting Lebanon to Syria; however, both Israeli and Syrian spokespersons vehemently denied that any targets in Syria were hit.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manushehr Mottaki visited Syria on Monday, carrying what officials in Iran said was a message for the Syrian dictator, Bashar Al-Assad, committing Iran to come to the aid of Syria in the event it would be the target of an attack. Iran and Syria also signed a memorandum of understanding accelerating development of 19 joint infrastructure and development projects.

According to Syria's new United Nations ambassador, Dr. Jafar Ja'afari, "We are not mercenaries, we will not be drawn into this war." He made the comments in an interview with reporters in New York this past Friday.

In reaction to the new tactic of the Israeli air force targeting trucks used in smuggling weapons, the Lebanese government has suggested that truck drivers in the country drive without the standard canvas covering on their truck beds. This would allow Israeli pilots to differentiate between innocent cargo and deliveries of Syrian missiles, according to Lebanese officials.

On Monday, Syrian officials said more than 100,000 people had crossed from Lebanon into Syria in search of an escape from the fighting.
