A new poll released Monday shows Republican Tom Kean Jr. has pulled about even with incumbent Robert Menendez in New Jersey's U.S. Senate race.
The Quinnipiac University poll showed 40 percent of respondents in the heavily Democratic state favored Kean while 38 percent backed the Democrat Menendez and 18 percent were undecided.

It's all part of the decade-long collapse of the immoral and anti-American DemocRAT party.
IS there any scenario where the Dems could win the Senate and lose NJ?
It's even again, after Menendez had taken a slim lead.
Supporting RINO Kean will help conservativism overall, even though voting for him will test the gag reflex of conservative voters.
There are a number, as the situation is still quite fluid. But I fervently hope that doesn't happen.

Wait - I thought every (R) was going to lose and every (D) was going to win? At least that's what Tim Russert, Shortie George Stephie and Matt Lauer have told me.
I thought the Democrats were supposed to sweep the mid-term elections?
Nice news to end a long day.
This is cute but - it aint happening. Those North of the Driscoll Bridge who have died in the last five years will be out voting in full force and Quinnipiac University did not factor these people in their numbers.
How the heck is it "Pulled about even"????
The dem was up 43-36, now the rep surges ahead and takes the lead by 2 points and the AP says "Pulled about even"????
Pulled about even would be going from down 43-36 to only down 41-40. This is pure crap written by a lib.
Just saw that Daddy Warbucks has a 43% disapproval rating. The NJ legislture has a 71% disapproval rating.
Even in NJ means Dem by 8.
Regards . . . Penny
It would be nearly impossible. They'd have to win all six of the Republican-held competitive seats (PA, MT, OH, MO, RI, TN), hold onto all their own competitive seats, plus somehow pull one more out from somewhere - maybe VA? So, its possible, but not too likely.
"About even." True, but if this had been the other way around it would have been "Democrat holds lead in NJ Senate race."
