Clinton persued peace for one reason only. He wanted the Nobel Peace prize at just about any cost. His administration pressured the Israelis to sign on to a pact in 2000, that would have been quite detrimental to them. Luckily, they were dealing with the Palestinians. The Palestinians were too stupid to realize what a great deal they were getting, and started the intifada instead.

Clinton is lucky the media still goes down for him.

Clinton, the Dems, Europe and the Arab League all have the same answer. The same answer that Blofeld always had for James Bond - "I expect you to die"

The Left and the anti-American crowd all hate Israel. They want Israel to go away almost as much as they want to see American lose its only real ally in the Middle East. The U.N. wouldn't even pass a resolution if Israel were nuked by Iran. And Hillary! would only issue a statement saying that it was 'regrettable' and 'inappropriate' but would be happy not to have to deal with the Middle East ever again.

Another Clinton Legacy?
His repeated fetes of "Assafat" in Washington puffed that terrorist lunatic up to such self-delusional heights that we are still reaping the results...I can still picture the grinning, fawning Clinton with that little despot.
Clinton, thumbing his nose at Israel while heaping accolades on their arch enemy, bears a part in todays conflict too...
Clinton's greatest concern and goal in office was to secure a "legacy" - He certainly did that, but not the one he wanted.
Besides the conflict today, we still have more years of very real danger ahead, thanks to the Clinton years...
We have China now with sophisticated submarines/weapons with advanced systems sold to them for campaign money - we have the specter of North Korean nukes aimed our way - funded by the Clinton/Carter deals...

His legacy will reach far beyond a blue dress...

But the good news is that the demRats are coming out of hiding on this issue and condemning Israel. Will the American Israelis finally get the picture? Let's see, On one side of the conflict: Israel, Bush, Republicans and, surprisingly, Eygpt, Saudi Arabia, and many other Arab countries! - and on the other side: Hammas, Hezbolla, Iran, Syria and - ah - the democrats. gotta love it!

Well, it's nice of Clinton to tell the Israelis that the 2,804 deaths they suffered since his failed attempt in 2000 are not worth squat and that eliminating the group dedicated to killing them and their rockets are a disproportionate response.

That's more than were killed in the WTC so I guess Clinton thinks that going into Afghanistan was disproportionate too. What a lame-ass.
