That stood out like a sore thumb....Biden is always saying: 'As I said 2 years ago', 'as I pointed out 2 years ago'.....as I bullsh*t.

Tim: We were subpoened at NBC, etc. Why didn't you fight the subpoena.

Novak: My lawyer said I didn't have a clear chance of surviving it. It was my decision and my attorney believed there was a high probability I would lose the case. You lost the case. Everyone who went to court lost the case.

CNN 9:40 am

Barbara Starr CNN Pentagon reporter, says plans are being made to evacuate Americans, but keep in mind, all 25,000 Americans won't want to leave. Starr says if American soldiers go in to Lebanon, they will want to be "in and out" as quickly as possible.

Starr clarifies, the State Dept is in charge of an operation like this. The Ambassador on the ground makes the decision to remove Embassy employees, and the State Dept requests the Pentagon to make plans to extricate citizens. She makes clear, the Pentagon acts at the request of the State Dept. The plan right now is to remove American citizens to Cypress and put them on civilian planes for home.

"The team has arrived in Lebanon to plan the evacuation of Americans", according to CNN news crawl.

True, then when Russert asked him the question point blank, he denied that he was bashing the administration. Sigh....

I'm starting to think that not 1 reporter in 100 either knows they truth or is reporting the truth

Gee Peach are you insinuating that the msm/drive-bys may have an agenda when they report how poor Valerie Pflame's identity was "brazenly revealed" by any pubbie they think they can pin it on. Why I never.....

Every first response to any Russert question should be, "What do you mean by that?"

Without Brit there today, Juan Williams is runnin' wild. Very aggressive. No one to challenge him (no, Bill Kristol, sitting there smirking is not correcting Juan.)

From Mr. Right

In honor of the momentous events of these last few days, I channeled my inner-moonbat and came up with (dare I say it): the world's very first Fitzmas Carol! A tune destined to be sung by joyous moonbats every Fitzmas Eve as they gather around the tree and exchange gifts! I hope you enjoy it...

Ms. American Spy

He always attacks - previously Powell, now Rice. He sided with Congress's authority to hide bribes under a freezer and faulted the admn. to raid on it. (96% of people disagreed with that. )

Expanding on this, we don't have enough troops in Iraq, even though the Democrats never wanted them there in that quagmire in the first place, and we are spread to thin, but we should have a draft for a war we don't support and in the mean time, we should attack North Korea and intervene in Lebanon. I am getting a headache.

Exactly! Newt had his shot. He's a smart guy, but he's not helping here, he's really not.

Russert: Why do you believe Fitzgerald knew your sources?

Novak: He knew from the beginning -- for 2.5 years who my sources were and decided no law was broken and didn't bring any indictment against my source.

Russert: When I testified, I told what I had said. Why did you wait?

Novak: My lawyer didn't want me to talk until Fitzgerald's investigation was ocmpleted. When Fitzgerald announced Rove wouldn't be indicted, my lawyer went to him and he said my involvement was over and I could talk.

Russert: WaPo Exec Editor says Armitage is likely source

Novak: I won't talk about that. I think it would be a violation of the tacit arrangement I had. Until he reveals himself as Rove and Harlow have, I will be quiet. It probably will come out someday, but I won't say.

Russert: What were the ground rules of your interview.

Novak: I have all kinds of interviews where there's a tacit agreement where I won't reveal the name. He's not a political gunslinger. We were the only people in the room, no tape recorder.

Russert: Waht did the source tell you about Plame?

Novak: Wilson had beenon MTP and I thought he was hostile to the admin. and I was curious why the CIA would send this hostile person with no background in Niger to this mission and he said "his wife suggested him". I thought it was interesting. The CIA said she didn't initiate it, she facilitated it. That's wrong, the Senate Intel Committee has the document to prove it. The Republican majority concluded it. There's a document that confirms it. He didn't give me her name.

Now Newt is trying to say that he's not blasting Bush. Do you notice that Newt throws out "facts" with no attribution. I have never fact checked a transcript on him. Maybe I should.

How dare you say that!

You have to understand, the only thing the President and Newt have in common is the number 180--- the President's weight and Newt's IQ! Newt wants to so support the Bush administration-- but they make it so hard for him! If only they would follow his brilliant advice!

Newt is a visionary, a hi tech-prophet! Getting caught up in details like facts and consistency is for earth-bound clods like you and I, not men of ideas like Newt!

Chuck Todd of Hotline compared Hugh Hewitt of the right to Kos of the left.

That really is an utterly stupid thing for any supposed Political Expert to say. Koise boy is more a kin to Pat Buchannan. At no time has Hewitt ever said anything even remotely deranged as things Kosie says every day. Kosie is a way out political fringer who is taken seriously by the Political Media, the Democrat Party Establishement and no one else.
