Allen holds huge money edge on Webb
GOP senator banks $6.6 million as rival reports $424,245
Republican U.S. Sen. George Allen holds a huge fundraising advantage over his Democratic opponent, Jim Webb, in the Senate race in Virginia.
Reports filed yesterday with the Federal Election Commission show that Allen ended June with $6.6 million in the bank, while Webb had $424,245 in cash on hand.

Excellent!
I hope he can hold onto most of it for his presidential campaign. He's sure the guy for me!
I like him best too!

Thanks,
Sorry. I guess I would consider campaign involvement to be activism.
It won't happen again.
1) He won't.
2) Kilgore was not complacent. He was working his tail off, but taking some very bad advice on the issues/focus of his campaign.
Me three. I can't wait! From one George to another!
He won't. He needs this win before he's our presidential nominee. :)
George Allen is quiet.
Is he bright?
I don't think so.
Because he is quiet.
He might be a joke.
Some of that is my money! I have donated more to Allen during the last year then most OK candidates except for Gov and Lt Gov and if my candidates don't win in the primary on July 25th, I will continue to send to Allen for the future rather then waste money on candidates I don't like!
Wonder how many of us from out of state are on his donor list? :)
Oh yes! And that'll put George into a three way tie with "John" and "William for the second most popular first name of our presidents. Cuurently, James is the most popular with 5 president's named James.
You don't have a clue about George Allen! George Allen is very articulate and has the ability to keep you focused on what he is saying during a speech. I was totally impressed with the man when he gave the keynote address to our Oklahoma Convention and agreed with his stand on issues.
George Allen stands with Senator Tom Coburn when it comes to pork and you have the nerve to say he might be a joke. Give me a break.
Corin, do you think Kilgore might run again in the future? I think he'd have made a great governor, and am still sick over the way that election went.
You're the one who's not bright.
Dear the final gentleman,
I've been watching Sen. Allen from across the river for some number of years. I wouldn't say he's quiet as much as soft-spoken. However, when he was governor, he seemed thoughtful, intelligent, effective, energetic, and in-charge.
I'd vote for him if he were the Republican nominee in 2008.

You know I honestly don't know. He's certainly young enough to consider it. And, maybe after a high profile position in an Allen Administration he might.
