The Israel Air Force on Saturday night struck Hizbullah's main headquarters in a southern suburb of Beirut. There were no reports of injuries. (Ynet)
Hard to believe any target of interest would be in those buildings at this point. But there could be documentation, computer files, etc., without which Hezbollah's operations might be set back.
Too bad.
They should have hit it first and killed a 'bunch' of them SOB's.
Unless there was a nighttime meeting, it would have been better to hit the building in daytime. The war is not against the buildings, but against the vermin infesting them.
Sometimes it's not the building or what/who is inside, but the radio/internet chatter that comes from your enemy after you hit something like that.
Think back to Midway, 1942. "AF" has lost its water purifier. We didn't care about the water purifier. We cared about the radio traffic.
Architects Against War
Someone needs to tell the EU, US, and Israeli's this. The whole mess, including French Lebanon that was carved out of Syria in the 1920's, p!sses me off. So where does the rest of the world go from here? Let the EU deal with their problems. The UN is inept and corrupt, and the US is sick to death of being the global cop. Should the Arab nations keep up their support for the radicals, isolationist policies will be demanded in the US. Let the EU field, fund, and suffer the loss of their troops. "No blood for stupidity"
I can only hope that they struck with intent to kill.
Otherwise, blowing up another empty building won't send a message to Hezbollah brutes.
Well, I'm having a hard time figuring this out. Where are the weapons caches and why haven't those been hit?
This is based on the assumption that Israel is doing battle with an actual armed military enemy. They're not.
The terrorist cowards are hiding like they always do. Therefore, remove their hiding places.
The long range missiles have been stored by Hezbollah inside civilian homes. Israel is hitting those, and by design the global left-wing news media is now beginning to publish their mandatory "baby-killer" anti-Israel stories.
Hezbollah moves the long range missiles from the civilian homes to the launching areas in small mini-van convoys at night, so expect a run of "Israel shot up innocent civilians driving at night" stories, too.
I get it!
You want to win this thing.
I like that.

Jack Bauer's not telling.
We have to let him do his job.
Unfortunately, the oil-rich Arab countries have Europe and America by the testicles.
Courtesy of shortsighted politicians and environmental terrorists.

Israel is doing the right thing. Kill more terrorists, faster. If the terrorists' fellow travelers are in the way, too bad. The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist.
Someone said the other day that Israel is probably thinking 10 steps ahead in this war against Hezbollah and Hamas. Now that the IDF knows that long range rockets are arrayed against them they will change their order of battle to compensate and destroy them. It is also a great strategic benefit for Israel to clear out the 70 mile fronter with Lebanon and destroy the infrastructure that Hezbollah relies on. Its going to make it difficult for Iran to retaliate once Israel hits their nuclear sites .
