Hard to believe any target of interest would be in those buildings at this point. But there could be documentation, computer files, etc., without which Hezbollah's operations might be set back.
Sometimes it's not the building or what/who is inside, but the radio/internet chatter that comes from your enemy after you hit something like that.
Think back to Midway, 1942. "AF" has lost its water purifier. We didn't care about the water purifier. We cared about the radio traffic.
I'm coming to the conclusion that the IDF has some distinct goals in this operation:
1. Eliminate Hizbollah as a force in southern Lebanon.
2. Demonstrate the impotence of Damascus, Tehran and the terror lords by triple-dog-daring them to do something.
