I thought this could be a new thread for today. BurbankKarl's thread did well yesterday.
IDF official: Hizbullah hid rockets in houses
Officer says Israeli planes struck houses in Southern Lebanon villages used by Hizbullah for concealing long-range rockets. We have no intention of hitting civilians, but those who live by the sword are bound to get hurt, he states
Hanan GreenbergA senior IDF official revealed Saturday that Hizbullah has been hiding a large quantity of long-range rockets in specially-designed rooms built in houses in Southern Lebanon villages, operating under the assumption that the Israeli army will have difficulty in locating them and that it would prefer not to harm villages.
More at ynetnews, including the IDF's belief that there are those in Lebanon capable of curbing Hezbollah, so they are trying not to box the Lebanese government in. I don't have that much optimism, since Arab governments traditionally play the "we can't control them" game while not doing a damn thing to curb terrorism. The PLO can't control Hamas, the Saudis can't control Al Qaeda, the Egyptians can't control the Muslim Brotherhood, Iraq can't control the Shiite militias, Lebanon can't control Hezbollah, etc., etc. ad nauseum.
Are you od'ing on your inhaler??
You forgot the fourth type - makers of suicide bombs. Sometimes suicide bombers and makers of suicide bombs are the same type.
I sometimes wonder if bombs are the only thing they care to manufacture.
The Saudis and other should be rewarding those in Lebanon and elsewhere to turn in terrorists rather than reimbursing families of suicide bombers.
Can you tell us why Tiberius was targeted........any speculation?
"Bob Beckel just defended the Bush Administration. That or I have a fever."
I saw that too. It was a pleasant surprise.
I can confirm. I am sitting here stunned.
Bob Beckel seems to have moments of lucidity. Either that or you and I have moments of hallucinations.
And thus begin the End Times.
Quick...someone get my smelling salts...
LOL, no but now that you mention it, I should keep it handy.
What did Beckel say exactly?
There are two kinds of muslims:
Good muslms - those that are dead.
Shame on you. You are part of the problem. Bad muslims - those that are still living.
Yeah, but it sounds like they still have a full bar; he'll fret when the liquor runs low.
I am so glad you all heard it as well. I mean the Graceful Gazelle set Bob up so nicely to blast the President and he didn't! I was stunned.
Thanks for the ping...sofa.
Continued prayers for your son..boy, when I said he was going to witness history...I had NO idea this was going to happen.
Maybe when he gets back...you might have him post an "after action report" here on FR...it would be very interesting to hear a young person's POV on what he saw and felt/feels about all of this.
Considering that all of us have witnessed the "unease" in the Middle East all of our lives...this is HUGH to us..but, in sofalad's short life...he has witnessed quite a bit, with Iraq, 9/11...and now this.

i think democrats have been operating in gaza for a long time. Though i suspect they are making their presence known more now because of the perceived political advantages. Was the one that jumped on the woman's table howard dean?
Brian Wilson asked Bob if the Adminsitration had been caught flat footed by this Mid East crisis. Bob said No I don't think so, it's hard to figure out what Hezbollah is going to do next. Something like that. It's a paraphrase.
They were beginning to interview crying 'victims' of Israel's bombings in Lebanon (you know, the ones living in Hezbollah neighborhoods who ignored the warnings to leave?).......never bothering (that I saw, at least) to do the same for the truly innocent victims of Hezbollah.
Even when reporting the 'facts' they side with the terrorists.
