I thought this could be a new thread for today. BurbankKarl's thread did well yesterday.
Well their respective ideas of "open war" are not the same, to be fair.
He's not going to be goaded into making himself a target.
If your opponent had jets and the best you have is a drone...
What I'm concerned about is that these reports on civilian deaths vs. military can be used as a reason to go into missle terror mode where they target anything they wish.
A FLIP FLOP in two sentences...!!!
Feingold..you are a loser weinie...give it up.

It's unbelievable.
If you didn't know better, you could assume by the non FOX , US media coverage that Hezbollah was
some type of fraternal organization doing charity work -the Lions Club of Lebanon.
The word terror and WOT is very rarely used in connection with Hezbollah by the NF US media.
You haven't seen anything yet.
When the MSM realizes what's potentially at stake here, they will make the DU and KOS look like tea party chats.
From a distant perspective, watching the likes of Dan Rather and Katie Couric undergo catastrophic meltdown could be considered amusing, but in this context it will just contribute to the overall fog yet to come, and could lead us right over the edge, into the abyss.
At least I have my duck tape....
I know...she's too much...but at least she has on Bill Cowan right now..."Sleepers cells in the US of Hizbollah"..

Yes...you were right earlier...Cowan just said we should be more worried about the Hezbollah terrorists that are here in the US...than the al-Queda sleeper cells.
Weren't you the one that said you heard that they had caught some Hezbollah crossing the Mexico border?

04:31 G8 seeks common position over Middle East violence (Reuters)
I read Weakly Standard a couple times....I didnt like that it was so wishy washy... Guess I am a National Review type of guy.
Yup.
What else can we do about it other than wail here on FR?
I'll work on a few things myself, on my home front.
She really does a great job.............so far.
Well they would have blamed Bush if they could have but it was 1996.
Thanks for posting the Stratfor analysis - crunch time will be when the IDF crosses the line. At that point Hizbullah will be in a use it or lose it position. This is when we might see stuff go flying towards Hafia (again), Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The other wildcard that Stratfor fails to mention is Iran, given the unstable nature of their clerics and President. Some fairly sophisticated Iranian weapon systems have already been employed and we shouldn't rule out others

Pretty quiet right now, Dog.
Maybe a little...shelling...up north...obviously no big deal.
Rumor has it that no UAV hit the Israeli radar picket, that it was a C-802 stolen from some antique shop or another...
Syria's jumping through all kinds of hoops to save face without actually declaring war, I think Assad feels a rock and a hard place closing in on him, our good friends in Iran are spreading evil lies that Israelis are the kindest, most peaceful on good planet earth, and I'm thinking about taking a nap, since everyone obviously got tired of rockets and fighting and such.
Peach posted an interesting tidbit to the effect that the Echelon network is hurting for CPU cycles, traffic and hits passing a knuckle in the curve to the extent that some unnamed staffer blabbed to the press, and Israel and Hamas are playing "no we aren't, yes you are" to reports of merkovas in northern Gaza.
Denny's is cooking up stacks of flapjacks, coffee, and western omelets, and you are personally invited to a first class meal, to extend to say, midnight EDT, during which we'll while away the time and try to find something, anything, interesting to discuss.
Heya Sofa surfer....any news?
Think Iran would be bold enough to shoot some cruise missiles at the Iran Defence Ministry?
They say they are not afraid to attack who is attacking them, but in another statement state they are not going to attack Syria.
I know they killed some Lebanese personnel at the radar installations.....
