I thought this could be a new thread for today. BurbankKarl's thread did well yesterday.
Thank you for explaining, jeffers.
yeah...Moscow is Nirvana, ask him...the Russians are not our friends..
Last I saw Steve, he was covering the Florida 7, or was it 8?? LOL
I DID hear Geraldo say he was going to Lebanon...how about that??
Yes.
Prolly
People will be surprised how many "OTM" (other than mexicans), are caught coming in... doesn't count the ones who aren't called.
Great..thanks, I heard about it, but never saw it.
LONDON (Reuters) - Two Royal Navy ships are being sent to the Middle East amid contingency planning for a possible evacuation of British nationals from Lebanon.
The Ministry of Defence said on Saturday the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious and the assault ship HMS Bulwark were being sent to the region as the conflict escalates.
But a ministry spokeswoman stressed, "They have been given no specific tasking and this is simply a prudent part of our contingency planning."
HMS Illustrious is currently in Gibraltar and HMS Bulwark is close to Barcelona in Spain.
"There are approximately 3,500 to 4,000 British families registered in Lebanon. There are also 10,000 dual nationals," a Foreign Office spokesman said.
"We are advising people to stay put but to get ready for departure at short notice if necessary. We are in regular contact with our European Union partners," he added.
yeah...he's in Tel Aviv...the hotel next to them in Tiberius was hit...he's fine. His underwear isn't...
OK, I'm confused. Didn't Israel make a big effort to LEAVE Gaza a few months ago?
Just came in from ballgame & have to run out again. I am totally in the dark about the reference above. Care to point me in the right direction? :-)
That's a fact.
Nor are the French.
when we pull out US citizens we should think seriously about leaving him there..
I hope "not TelAviv" too. It was a recent Hezbollah boast that they could reach it.
The press in full campaign mode against Israel today. They bring up sympathetic Palistinians in Gaza, scared Americans in Lebanon, and to be balanced they interveiwed a Israeli captain that looked determmined.
The DBM is just ridiculous. They don't even bother mentioning the kidnapped soldiers. It's all about stopping big bad Israel. It would be something if they tried to get back to journalistic integrity.
Oh...I wouldn't be surprised...in Tel Aviv though, the Israelis have a better chance of knocking that missile down..
Oh my gosh! It's wonderful that he is safe, but what a traumatic experience for him!
Prayers up for sofalad
Arlen Specter sure is trying to make it harder on the NSA and President Bush to FIND these communications...pffffft
Where did you copy that from? All I can think it references is the jihadists captured in FL and Canada and one of their cohorts who escaped/lived (?) in Lebanon.
