OK, I'm confused. Didn't Israel make a big effort to LEAVE Gaza a few months ago?

Israel uprooted their citizens from Gaza last year....after the hoods with dirty nightshirts moved in, they started firing rockets into Israel....kidnapping a soldier was the final straw. they thought they could get 1000 terrorists back for exchanging the soldier back to Israel, but the rules have changed.
Now Israeli tanks are in Gaza taking care of business.
