We're going on day four of the latest fidel castro is dead rumors. Here are a couple more uncorroborated reports and speculations:
- Hugo Chavez supposedly took an "urgent flight" to Cuba yesterday afternoon along with other high ranking Cuban officials. Details or news accounts of same unavailable.
- Granma once again published articles profiling Raul Castro, heir apparent to the dictator throne.
- WHPC reports that there is much action in Cuba at the moment, with reports from Granma stating that workers are "waging a fierce battle" in attempts to have construction and other related project complete for a huge July 26 island wide celebration. WHPC also speculates that said projects and celebration and construction may be some kind of secret preparations for an elaborate state funeral for the bearded dictator.
- Ive also received unconfirmed reports that castro may not be dead, but suffering from Parkinsons or Alzeimers and not in control of his mental faculties. (natch)
- Several sources have emailed stating that they have been unable to communicate with family and loved ones on the island for several days. Other sources have emailed saying they have been in communication with family in Cuba but have heard nothing of the rumors.
- I personally have yet to hear from certain sources in Cuba via email.
- There have been no reports from local news media regarding the rumors to my knowledge.
Unfortunately, that's all I have that I feel I can publish at the moment without helping perpetuate the rumors. As I've said all along, we have but to wait until July 26 for verification. Should fidel not appear on his holiday, chances are he is either at death's door or begging Satan not to make him recite the Pledge of Allegiance of the US in perpetuity for all eternity.
Stay tuned.
;~)
Thank you for that. I pictured the President taking out all our enemies, shortly before leaving office. I literally laughed out loud with joy thinking of it.
sooner or later everybody gets theirs dont they?LOL
That this monster should die of natural causes is a testimony to the cowardice and vanity of the age in which we live.
I can't decide whether he's around so long because he's doing such a good job that Satan is protecting his own, or he's so bad that they don't even want him in hell.
Sheesh, why do these guys live so long?????
No hablo Espanol. It didn't work for me and I don't know which button to click on.
As long as we nailed the coffin shut before he let go.
I think both Dan and Fidel use grecian formula.

Now, which little boy will I use tonight?
July 27:
Bienvenidos a Florida del Sur? ;)
Hypothetically speaking, can Guantanamo Bay, legally annex the rest of the island?...
(just wondering)
It would be better if his regime were overthrown while he is still alive. But I guess as long as he's dead, that'll have to do. :')
Is Jimmy Carter packing his bags; is he flying his Cuban flag at half staff; does it appear that he is scribbling notes as part of the homily he will give and has he been seen dabbing tears from eyes?
If the answer to most of the above is yes, then you can take it to the bank that his bud, fidelio, has gone to meet his good bud, Stalin, in hell.
Hope for the best! Once that old reprobate finally assumes room temperature, we'll finally be able to buy a decent cigar again legally in the Lower 48...
After Castro took over Cuba, his hatred of gays (except his brother) led to the imprisonment of so many gays with so little in the way of trials that fueding Cuban families would simply "out" a member of the other family to get someone sent to jail.
Gay-Friendly Hollywood applauds this behavior to this very day, hailing Fidel Castro's "progressive" views on homosexuality.
Castro also appointed Che Gueverra to be his chief executioner. Che was originally infamous for his comment that "To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary... These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution! And a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate. We must create the pedagogy of the paredon (the execution wall)"
To which the anti-death-penalty left-wing in the U.S. applauds to this day, wearing Che proudly on their T-Shirts.
And should the radical Left ever come to power, the above policies will go into place here in the U.S., too (though perhaps with some even more sinister wrinkles).
I have a co-worker who has family in Cuba. She told me about this Monday. She has been in touch with her family there by email. That is where I first heard about it.
I pray this old commie bites the dust soon. I just hate him.
Castro, Chavez, Kim, and all leaders of the middle east causing trouble all at once would be sweet.
