I was watching online earlier, and AP was showing the Israeli artillery shell convoys....those long MAN transport trucks filled with shells.

Problem with all our wars, without uniforms you can't tell the good guys from the bad guys, so yes, when the bad guys put their missiles in the middle of crowded civilian neighborhoods you are going to have civilian casualties -- one reason we could call the bad guys barbarians.

Lebanese Ambassador to Washington, Farid Abboud, was recalled to Lebanon after expressing support for Hizbullah during an interview with CNN, contrary to the Lebanese government’s official position.

The new 'democratic" Lebanese government really is between the proverbial rock and hard place.

I heard this evening that when the holes in their runways were repaired we allowed officials of the democratic cabinet to fly out to safer territory, so those planes we saw flying out this morning were flying officials out. They said if we have to send helicopters in to recover our citizens in Lebanon we will announce it loud and clear so we're not mistaken for Israeli helicopters.

Convoys forming up or moving now will probably support and early thrust. it will take longer to get called up reserves mated with equipment and in place. Good eye, that's the kind of thing reporters never catch. Good news too.
