Israeli gunners cover their ears as an artillery piece fires into southern Lebanon from a position on the border near Kiryat Shmona, northern Israel, Friday, July 14, 2006.
And a rope....the Hanging Judge.
I watched LKL -- at least he had George Allen -- I flipped back and forth between him and McCain.
I'm voting for Allen.
Ah, Sexy Oliver is it? Like that a lot.
Essentially Sexy Oliver - on Hannity's radio show - said that China will take out Lil Kumquat because China has billions invested in the Olympics. China wants to be a world economic power and cannot afford Lil Kumquat to be a complication to that end.
Russia, China and any other behind the scenes player have to realize that their puppets - No Korea, Iran, Islamo-facists - will cut the strings one day and go after the puppet masters.
Jennifer told the saddest story earlier...
About a family that had some of its members move to wherever Jennifer is right now...from Hiafa...in order to be safe..
But, tonight a rocket hit their house and the grandmother and a 5 year old were killed..
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
QUESTION: Who is making the decisions for the government right now? Who is making the decisions?
HAIG: Constitutionally, gentlemen, you have the president, the vice president, and the secretary of state in that order. And should the president decide he wants to transfer the helm to the vice president, he will do so.
QUESTION: Who makes that decision? (CROSSTALK)
HAIG: As of now, I am in control here in the White House pending return of the vice president and in close touch with him. If something came up, I would check with him, of course.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
Notice he says "here in the White House" and points out that the VP is next in line to the Pres and that all decisions would be checked with the VP. Doesn't sound to me like he was upset or nervous. Sounds like he was trying to reassure the bed wetters that the grown ups were still around.
I thought that's exactly what had happened, but I'm not up to date enough on this to state that positively. Thanks for brining me up to date.
While I was watching, I did think to myself who could ever believe a word these people say.
Some people want information, and not the kind of garbage you spew all the time.....
Interesting..................thanks..........
I wonder what it's like being able to ignore reality simply because an old book tells you to.
All of the alphabet media elite refer to him as George Bush or Mr. Bush, never!!! President Bush; this has been going on forever.
Cool map of Israeli & Hezbllah air strikes. Where did you find it? Link?
1) What exactly is Israel "occupying," according to all the Arab-leaning spokespeople.
Gaza currently, southern Lebanon in 24 to 48 hours, prime strategic real estate in the Golan.
2) Did anybody besides me notice that whenever questions were ask, they all said about the same thing,
that Israel was the agreesor, that Israel was occupying Palestinian lands, and that the only way it was
going to stop was to have an INTERNATIONAL PEACE CONFERENCE?
Lots of factors in play here. Muslim countries have to pander to internal sentiment, as well as pay respect to global alliances. That's why you'll see two completely different statements for internal versus external distribution.
Bush has to play both sides too, but he gave Israel an unlimited green light a couple days ago. That won't change until alliances start looking shaky from internal pressure, or until Israel gets greedy.
Russia and France know that Iran either planned this, or else will be drawn into it. They don't want their client state put out of the nuke business.
The US Left was caught flat-footed by this, and have yet to spin up to full speed, but when they do, they will blame everything on Bush, and advocate the precise opposite of whatever Bush says. When they gain momentum, the ME will follow suit to a degree, but SA Jordan and Kuiwait can't afford to have Iran in charge, bottom line.
Iran and Syria...well...this is either part of a much larger plan, or else they see themselves being drawn in, and therefore Israel is the enemy.
That covers the big dogs.
3) Isn't Hamas in charge of Gaza now? Why are they all saying that Israel is occupying it? How can they
blame Israel for THEIR lack of ability to govern their own territory?
Well they were, until a couple weeks ago. Israel is in north limited, and other points, basically setting up for overrunning it if the need arises. You know Hamas, they squeal if the shadow of an Israeli passenger aircraft "massacres" their wretched refuse from teeming Muslim shores.
How many guys from Jenin does it take to pave a road?
Two, if you spread them real thin.

describes a Russian-led invasion of Israel in the"latter days" of history and provides a specific list of nations and alliances involved in the conflict on both sides. However, Egypt and Syria, two of the most important nations in Bible prophecy, are missing from Ezekiel. The writer believes this is because Egypt and Syria will be neutralized in a conflict with Israel beforehand, probably just prior to Ezekiel's war.)
This attack on Israel is precisely why the Iranians should not be allowed to play with matches. The nations of the Middle East need to overcome their hatred of Israelis---or they need to be overcome by Israelis.
The Palestinians wanted this war. They wanted, they chose, to be led by terrorist bands. The Syrian and Iranian governments wanted this war.
We must fervently pray that Israel does not merely defeat them, but also removes their leaders from power.
Nice map, but for the Palestine part.
Yeah, he heard that there is vault there holding all the WMD.
You know, posts like yours is one of the reasons I love FReeRepublic.
You guys/gals dig up everything. I'd bet someone on this thread has the secret recipe for KFC and/or Coca-Cola.
Thanks.
:-)
NOPE...not only is Israel not occupying anything...they have even given BACK land that they have won in earlier wars...so, no one has a rightful gripe that Israel is occupying anything...
I think he's correct. Been wondering about that myself as the photo-opts have been taking place the past day or so... and especially since I believe Putin isn't going to do a thing to control Iran in this situation.
