That looks to be the 3rd civilian to die from the rocket attacks, and now Israel is hitting Beruit refineries, and the slide down the slippery slope continues

Both radio and television, and soon coming to a laptop or desktop near you, if you're in the US. It's used for a variety of potential emergency situations, not strictly military, even though that was the original reason for its creation. I still get a knot in my stomach whenever I hear that squawking sound because of a near-miss between my house and a tornado several years ago. I was not at home, and could not call due to phone outage, and could not get there very quickly due to bad weather, downed trees and downed power lines. A minor case of post-traumatic stress disorder, I suppose.
I haven't heard a word, either. Frankly, I think it's because people don't want to face up to it, not that they don't think it's a major story.

Why, is Israel fighting Saudi Arabia? I have pondered the 'bomb Mecca sentiment' and I disagree with the idea. You bomb Mecca and the entire muslim world goes terrorist and now you have to fight a billion people screaming 'for Mecca!', not hundreds of thousands. Besides, they will immortalize the event and simply erect a new moon-god alter for muslims to make a pilgramage to. Islam can't be defeated by vaporizing Mecca...
