Just a headline on British Sky News
UPDATE:
Bye, bye Beirut
This needs to be pinned immediately, this is a red line for Israel.
CNN's reporting it, too.
Its called PINGED.
Mark this date on your calendars, folks.
They've really done it now!
Let loose Yisrael!
Time for Israel to get medieval on their a$$es.
Game on.
What was the size of this rocket..
What about Syria?
Flatten these suckers. Oh, sure, the usual suspects would complain through the UN, but would anyone really care whether Israel annexes Lebanon, at least until the trash has been taken out?
these restrained reponses from Israel might be at an end. Any reports on the severity of the damage in Hafia. Looks like our Navy had good intel about incoming fire
Israel won't let that stand! I just hope the US gives them free reign to finish this problem off once and for all.....been a long time coming.
High-stakes mumblety-peg. Mumblety is about to get pegged.
Glass, Beruit will become.
Larger than a Katusha.
These rockets shot into Haifa purpurtedly have a range of 18 Miles, whereas the standard Katushas have a range of 6 miles.
yessir, let's see -
Hezbollah
1. launch rockets at civilians
2. cross border, attack military, kill 8 take 2 hostage
3. demand concessions
Israel
1. Demand return
2. Takes out military bases and escape routes
Hezbollah
1. attacks major civilian areas in a metropolis/resort.
Hey Kofi - try to spot the bad guys here! First guess counts. I know it's hard.
If I remember correctly, their normal half-assed unguided Katyushas can't reach Haifa. If that's true, then this was one of their longer-range missiles that they got from...surprise...Iran.
