Yeppers...I think when Iran and Syria are getting Hezbollah to start kidnapping Israelis...the attitude has to change.
AND, I am glad we did and did so right away.
The Democrats are allies of the terrorists. We should kill more terrorists, faster, wherever they can be found.
And keep in mind...today we heard the IAEA "suspects that Iran could have produced or received uranium enriched to a level above 20 percent, far more than required for a nuclear energy program."
Sheesh..while the world whistles in the dark...
If you haven't already, fasten your seatbelts. The men with turbans could soon have the world war they so long for, and the nutcase in North Korea is playing the game too.
Limited information, I know, but I figured they would know the difference between a general Order 8 and a limited one.
I will make further inquiries.
An incursion into Lebanon would increase the alert status of the Syrian Army. I would expect a clash with Damascus in short order. Methinks that Northern Command would want overwhelming force at its disposal incase a general armored offensive in the direction of Damascus is called for.

No such luck. Here is today's call for restraint. Same template used as always. Meaning of the words infer Israel should show restraint.

This isn't about Syria, at least not yet. Don't push it!
Iran did this on purpose to open up a second front.
Debka (yes, I know) is reporting that the Syrian army is on high alert.
Of course, I'd think that this would be standard fare given the situation.
In that case, I miss Ariel.
mixed signals coming out of Israel?
Okay folks, the meeting is over, and people are starting to make comments. Hopefully we will soon hear some snips of what went on in that meeting.

"This is a new situation. The citizens of Israel need to know that we are entering a period that would require resilience," Minister Issac Herzog said after the emergency cabinet meeting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert convened on Wednesday night in Tel Aviv in light of the events on the northern border.

Government to use international pressure to dismantle Hizbullah
In an emergency meeting the Israeli government decided to ask the international community to enforce UN resolution 1559 calling on the Lebanese army to supervise the international border between Lebanon and Israel, which is recognized by the UN. It was also deiced to pressure the international community to dismantle the Hizbullah. (Ronny Sofer)

So which is it, are the Israelis to do it on there own or is Olmert going to wuss out and call on the international community to dismantle Hizbullah. I hope the former b/c the latter is worthless (see UN)
Any bulletheads out there got the Syrian Army Order of Battle?
Oooops, no kishkies!
