mixed signals coming out of Israel?

Okay folks, the meeting is over, and people are starting to make comments. Hopefully we will soon hear some snips of what went on in that meeting.

Minister Herzog: Israel entering new era

Government to use international pressure to dismantle Hizbullah

In an emergency meeting the Israeli government decided to ask the international community to enforce UN resolution 1559 calling on the Lebanese army to supervise the international border between Lebanon and Israel, which is recognized by the UN. It was also deiced to pressure the international community to dismantle the Hizbullah. (Ronny Sofer)

So which is it, are the Israelis to do it on there own or is Olmert going to wuss out and call on the international community to dismantle Hizbullah. I hope the former b/c the latter is worthless (see UN)

I don't think one division will do it. Methinks this will spin into a big operation. The Syrians are involved in this with the Iranian intelligence service. Boy President will want to show the rest of the Arab League that he has a Big Peepee like Dear Departed Dad did, and he can fight to the last Arab peasant. That's why I think you'll see some poor schmucks in a luckless Syrian armored division called on to attack the Golani Brigade.

Any bulletheads out there got the Syrian Army Order of Battle?
