FReep #64: Pinkos Show How They "Support" the Troops
In FREEPERS: The ANTS at SHEEHAN'S "I'LL STARVE TOMORROW" PICNIC at the White House 7/03/06, the "AAR Champion Writer" Albion Wilde described the Sheenanigans of Code Pinko's Last Supper-and-mediawhore-fest. It appears that going without solid food for as much as *gasp!* 24 whole hours!?! put the leftists in a really bad mood. Sheehan already swiped the "Starving for Attention" slogan from the FReep banner, so perhaps Medea and Gael were looking for more ideas to steal and turn into commie propaganda when they strolled up the block and attempted to "reach out" to our side.

It started with this pleasant salute. Even after Elijah identified himself as a soldier currently living in Walter Reed hospital, this "troop supporter" couldn't manage to suppress a deep seated anti-American, anti-Military reflexive action to the sight of one of America's finest. Yes indeedy, the Pinkos sure know how to welcome a wounded warrior into their midst! |
And progressed to this verbal smack down! Gael & Medea made a significant tactical mistake by choosing one of the youngest patriots as a target for "re-education." Ashley, Megan and Amanda may be young, attractive and seemingly mild-mannered but DON'T TALK TO THEM ABOUT SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS BY BRINGING THEM HOME BEFORE THE JOB IS DONE! These young ladies made us so proud!!!! Ashley let them know how and why she opposed them and stood toe-to-toe with the Queen Pinko. Megan joined Medea in verbal assault, and with FReepers and commies conducting a multitude of skirmishes, the festivities came to the inevitable conclusion when a Pinko started shouting the international commie-SOS code : "Nazi!" |
|
From Tom The Redhunter: A handful of Pinkos came up to join in the fray, but they were vastly outnumbered. One came up to me, and although I forget how the conversation started, I pretty quickly called her a communist sympathizer (or something pretty similar). "Why?" she asked. "Because you hang out with people who like Fidel Castro, and who supported the Sandinistas in the 1980s." "Why do you say communism is bad?" she asked. I mentioned Robert Conquest's books, and the Black Book of Communism, but she wasn't impressed. After a few minutes she went on her way and I resumed taking photographs. ...After about 10 or 15 minutes Medea and Gael decided enough was enough and beat a retreat, rejoining their comrades down the street. We chanted "swim ... to ... Cuba!" after them. Code Pink had planned on spending this past New Year's eve in Cuba, but cancelled the trip when the State Department sent them letters informing them that it was against the law to visit Cuba and threatening fines and penalties.

concretebob thinks they came up the street because "they were lonely and wanted to meet their Daddy" Tom again: ...Let's be clear; these are not liberal Democrats, Code Pink is a bunch of communist sympathizers who side with the insurgents in Iraq (at least their leaders do), and hate this country.

<- tgslTakoma shows her credentials. Who says she's not a real journalist? Doctor Raoul shows the commie Pinkos their deity. -> |
||
<- This just doesn't make sense. A commie car with a ProtestWarrior.com bumper sticker? or is it just deja vu? One more example of how bereft of originality the Pinkos are. They steal the symbol for Breast Cancer Awareness and turn it into a hippy piece of crap! -> |
FReepers and FRiends in attendance (* indicates lurkers, WR are current patients except as noted): Albion Wilde, Amanda*, AppleBlosson, Ashley*, basil, Bill* from MD, bmwcyle, BufordP, Cindy-true-supporter, concretebob, Doctor Raoul, Elijah (WR), Fraxinus, Gavin*, George* & Ethel*, Jack Deth, Jerry (WR) who brought his mother Katy, brother Joey and wife Lisa, Jimmy Valentines brother, Just A Nobody, kristinn, Landry Fan, Megan*, Nina0113, PleaDeal, Sensei Ern, ShadowMahem, daughter of TGSL, tgslTakoma, Tom the Redhunter, Trooprally [Mr. & Mrs.], Zophiel
This week's AAR was again assembled from a group effort. basil and Trooprally [Mr] contributed terrific content and commentary, Tom RH and Elijah's blogs were plundered (in true piratey fashion!), and Trooprally [Mrs] provided her wonderful pics (identified with border). Thanks, guys!!!
PleaDeal's pics are here and Trooprally's [Mrs] tons-o-pics are here.
Long-lost-pals concretebob and warrior Jerry. |
AppleBlossom & bmwcyle came tonight, too! With Jack Deth and Landry Fan. |
Doctor Raoul, Nina0113, basil, kristinn, and lurker Bill. |
Trooprally [Mr]: I was the designated MOAB2 (Mother Of All Banners, part 2) holder this week so I didn't get around much. I'm beginning to feel orphaned from my southwest corner. But it has been in very good hands for the last several weeks. I did get over to the southwest corner for a little bit tonight. Lurkers Amanda, Ashley & Megan were also on that corner along with Concretebob. Does anyone see a connection yet? If so, you are wrong... |

Ashley, Amanda, concretebob, Megan, Trooprally and Jack Deth. |
Last week, Lurker Megan said she would smoke a cigar with me this week. I just went over to call her "bluff". Of course Concretebob eagerly took a cigar. To my surprise, Lurker Megan took one also. To my greater surprise, the three ladies shared the cigar and enjoyed a good smoke with Concretebob and myself, though the pics all show Lurker Amanda holding it. The five of us will never over shadow the "Three Amigos" (BufordP, Jimmy Valentines Brother and myself). Maybe we'll be the "5 Musketeers". |
JVB, Trooprally, Katy (behind poster) and basil. |
I also saw Justa A Nobody drive up, honking and waving at us, with three passengers. Justa picked up Landry Fan, Nina0331 and Basil. Basil flew in from Texas this weekend to FReep at Walter Reed and visit some FReeper FRiends. It was great to see and talk to her in person. But they spent most of their time "on my southwest corner". But I did get to also talk to Nina0331 and Landry Fan. That is what is so great about the Walter Reed FReep. We look out for each other and give "Guest of Honor" treatment to visitors. Three FReepers needed a ride and Justa was very gracious to help out. Thank You Just A Nobody for making the D.C. Chapter look good! |
It was also a pleasure to meet some of Jerry's family who came into town for the week. Jerry is a wounded soldier from Walter Reed that often comes out to talk to us. His mother is a very nice person, holding her sign and putting up with my cigar smoke. I wasn't able to really talk to Jerry's brother, sister-in-law and their young son.

Medea wants that pizza!! Gael tries to draw attention so her pal can get some food. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! |
As I have said in the past, the southwest corner is the corner to FReep on and tonight was a great example. Several Code Pinkos came up to the corner to engage the FReepers and lurkers. Not being on "my corner", I can only relate what I heard. Kristinn told me the pinkos got their a$$ handed to them. [Mrs] Trooprally said that Lurkers Megan and Ashley got face-to-face with the pinkos and gave them hell. Way to go FReepers and lurkers! I think the pinkos came up to our corner to get camera time. Since they no longer post pics or a report of their activities at Walter Reed, they wanted to get on our report. They certainly will now. |
basil says: Having the opportunity to participate in the DC Chapter Friday night "Support the Troops" rally was one of the true joys of my life. The Freepers are so dedicated and have persevered through thick and thin for a heck of a long time, now, and have been an inspiration to Freepers across the country. I was surprised and delighted to see the number of city busses, taxis, and police cars who honked and waved at us. What a kick that was! The blessed part of the evening was spending time with, and getting to know some of our heroes at Walter Reed. These were some of the nicest young people I have been around in many a day. Their dedication and sacrifice says it all. My prayer is that God will always bless them, and that they will know that this country truly supports them, in spite of all the negative press. Thanks to all of you for the hearty welcome! I hope I can join you again one of these days! |
Wounded Warriors and their families continue to receive a night out on the town, courtesy of generous donors and the owners of
the now homeless Fran O'Brien's, Hal Koster and Marty O'Brien. If you wish to make a contribution to help keep this wonderful
tradition going, please go to www.Aleethia.org and check out the Friday Night Dinners for our Wounded Heroes program.

We had a plethora of talented bloggers with us tonight. Some have written about tonight's FReep already and their posts are linked below.

We'll be back out at Walter Reed next Friday night, July 14th, from 6:30 until at least 9:30 at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Elder Street, NW in Washington, D.C. Let the troops know that regular Americans aren't too busy with TV, ball games, movies and other recreation to show their thanks and support to our brave troops and to peacefully counter America-hating moonbat-Pinkos.
Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future. This FReep is rewarding, fun, and important for our troops and our nation.
As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
Keeping the BIG LIST: All DC Chapter Walter Reed FReeps - c/o BufordP.
God bless you and your family.
Rest in peace, Dustin.
Hello to you Coop;
It’s been some time now since we have been back home. My son (Dustin Decol) Had a beautiful memorial service attended by hundreds of people, from as far away as D.C. and out from Arizona.The Patriot guard Riders attended en-masse. That was very moving to our family, that so many former vets came from so many places to honor Dustin’s service. Here is a painting done by an artist in Arizona by the name of Kaziah,I had heard of this site the 1st time my son was deployed, never thinking I would be a recipient of such a wonderful gift.(http://www.kaziahthegoatwoman.com/Images/640x480/HS-203_Dustin_Decol_8824.jpg)
It hangs over my fireplace, for all to see. My wife is doing well as we have such a beautiful granddaughter who is 16 mos. old now. She looks so like her mom and dad. It’s amazing how much strength we gain from this little girl. My Daughter Destini, is engaged to a soldier whom we met when we were at W.R.A.M.C. he was hit by an IED in Iraq and was at the hospital for a little over a year. He is medically retired now, and lives with us down here in Louisiana.
He is a country boy from Tennessee. Good kid. I don’t know who said the suffering gets easier with time, but so far I miss Dustin every moment of every day. More so now than the day we lost him. Well I just wanted to let you know I still stop by and read up on you all, and am happy to see things are still going well with the support. You take care Coop & God Speed! ! ! P.S. here is a webpage with pics of my granddaughter & Daughter-in-law. as well as a couple pics of my son..(http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=15708335
