lovely ice cold from the fridge

Darn we would have to be talking about candy! Your last sentence reminded me of another candy I used to like. Believe it or not they were also square, and at one time you could buy them for I think a nickle. Sorry, for the life of me can't think of the name. Anyway, when you'd put them in your mouth they would almost immediately melt even before you'd bite into them. The strange thing about them also was they were almost cold in feel----or at least they were to me. Boy were they good. Last time I saw them they were up to about thirty-five cents each, and they were a not large square either. Definitely quality over quantity.

Those shoes are gosh-awful, and what a good sport W is for wearing them. I think that's why all the employees are laughing in the picture where he's wearing them.

Those were, I think, a special deal. The factory usually makes shoes that are perfectly acceptable. :-)

Are you thinking of Ice Cubes? I think that is what they were called. I used to love those!

I feel dumb--I didn't even think of the fact that he is named for his grandfather! I wonder what they will call him.

From the pictures, the Prez seems to have been the rock star in the room during the tribute.

Wonder how much that frosted Teddy?

Puleeze, Eunice,

There was a woman at breakfast meeting at my church on Sunday ... of a similar age to Eunice but has held up a little better.

Anyway, the woman is eccentric, wears tons of costume jewelry and very expensive looking but odd clothing. She showed a vast area of crepy wrinkled bust over a lacy little vest. It was pretty sickening.

Eunice showed a lot of chest also. Ladies, clean your mirrors and take a good look.

Can't wait to see the Prez wear the red, white and blue shoes. They'll look great with jeans. (smile)

Eunice looks just awful.

I met Eunice in the 70's and she had deep wrinkles at that time. I was shocked by her appearance close up. I think it is the life of sun and boating without any skin protection.
