I think Hillary's attitude toward Lieberman is more an excellent example of how the Democrat mind works. Hillary can't blame Clinton for messing around with Monica. After all, out of expediency, she long ago forgave Clinton any transgressions. She can't blame herself, so she's going to blame Lieberman, right along with Ken Starr and the right wing conspiracy.

I forget who wrote an article I read this morning, but he/she explained Lieberman can't offer anything to Hillary, he's worthless, so she can please the far left fringe of the party by withholding her full support, it's a freebie for her.

That Hillary and Al Gore too, will toss a Lieberman overboard so callously, really exposes what they are all about. But maybe we secretly admire them? Well, we get all twisted out of shape because George Bush won't toss the despicable Arlen Spector, don't we?

I agree with Hillary here. If the voters in the Democrat party choose a candidate, as a member she should support that candidate. That is what representative government is all about.

Politically, she would have been a heck of a lot smarter to just keep her mouth shut if she didn't support Lieberman. Or, perhaps given her current status amount Dem leftists, she is trying to help him out. Who knows.

All I know is that the Democrats (and Republicans for that matter) should elect whoever they please and the party elites need to endorse that person unless there are very unusual circumstances like criminal malfeasance.
