Burns is one smart fellow. Can't take a snapshot on a Sunday morning and say we are succeeding or failing. Burns persists in explaining to Wallace in what ways we have made progress and are in a better position diplomatically to have an effect on NK and Iran.
Burns is viewed as a dove & Chris Hill (who is sent to talks) is viewed as hawk. That 's why they chose to send him to sunday shows. Another thing, people who watch more than one show clearly sense that admn. is clear on their policy & MSM just repeat the same old MSM speak on all shows.
Intresting. Are mythically "Objective" Junk Media and the DNC and the Knucklehead Kosie Kids are using the EXACT same talking point about Bush this weekend.
I understood, Tom. I wasn't clear. Was just pointing out that earlier in the day at least someone challenged her.
ref #21, the Dems have followed the same pattern as the Pubbies have with the overall Democrat Party. The Pubbies for years have been letting the dems do rotten things, and say rotten things and not beat them up for it or give them much discipline and they have been totally out of control like a child that you let run wild. It created chaos, and the Dems have been letting their crazy, moonbat, out of control children like Mikey Moore,Soros, and all their move-on ilk run the show. Now the Dems are realizing that The entire Party is tainted by those groups of Democrat Children that were left to run wild and People now see that Group as the face of the Party. It may be too late for any of the "rare but there" Moderates in the Democrat party to take it back simply because they(moonbats) have lots of money. I hope they never take it back. Reap what you sow Dems..
Ooohhh Ohhhh! PICK ME! I could muster up pleanty of chemistry with Kiran and Alisyn!
Most for me, it must be my computer.
"Tim: Based on exerience in Iraq and no WMD...."
Perhaps someone should stuff one of those 'no WMD's' up Timmys ass and set it off.
LOL...I so love plain talk!
I missed it, but thanks for the link, anita. I just read it.
Speaking of Chinese ambitions in the world, I am continually waiting for the "media" to share with Americans the reach that China really has into our economy. After the Dubai Ports World publicity, one could have expected at least a comment or two on Chinese control of huge ports, (including Freeport Grand Bahama) and shipping, as well as manufacturing.
Guess FNC still doesn't get it. Don't want chemistry, want thought provoking information and commentary.
Alas Babylon! has posted the always excellent live thread for the Sunday Morning Talk Shows on FreeRepublic. For those who don't have the time or inclination to watch the talking heads you can get an excellent summary and blow by blow analysis. The best part, for me, is the analysis provided each week, including lots of background material to either confirm or refute what gets said.
Often there are folks "on scene" or people with a particular expertise on a given topic. For instance, we had people posting from the UAE during the Dubai Ports controversy, debunking lots of misinformation about what the UAE was and wasn't. Likewise we had two people involved in international container shipping, one in England and one US based, who could provide us insider information on how things really worked. Very informative.
Of course, I wouldn't suggest going there INSTEAD of Townhall. Your browser should be able to support more than one window, after all...
Interestingly it refused the above version of the post and said I had used "inappropriate language." I thought, for a moment, that it might be FR, but then noticed "blow by blow." I changed that to "point by point" and it let me post. Odd filter.
