as "extraordinarily cordial." The pope met for a half hour with Zapatero, who was the target of whistles and boos by a few spectators when he arrived at Valencia's archbishop's palace Saturday evening for the gathering.

Apparently, not every Spaniard goes along with Zapatero's gay marriage. Zapatero didn't even want to meet the pope, and was only dragged into it. He was scared of the booing. He's lucky he wasn't tomatoed.

Reportedly Zapatero said, "I didn't expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition."

The Spaniards held a march with well over a million people in favor or traditional marriage and values.

Bet you didn't hear about it at all in our media, did you?

Well, I hope Zapatero at least felt a little bad for a few seconds. No, probably not. This man is shameless...

Why does an archbishop have a palace?

I'll respond with a definition penned by H.L. Mencken:

"Archbishop- A Christian ecclesiastic of a rank superior to that attained by Christ."

Right before Zapatero and his socialists did away with traditional marriage and brought gay marriage to Spain. At some point in 2005.

Here's a link detailing a bit about the event and the media's complete disregard for its existence. Looks like the Canadians in particular pretended it never happened.

This happened to Clinton in World Youth Day Denver, 1993. Plenty of people in the city park booed the big jumbotrons showing him when he met with the pope.
